Spotted: Matt Hunter's Aluminum Specialized Stumpjumper Has a Cable Actuated Derailleur
@mikekazimer: I'll chime in. I've been riding AXS Eagle for almost a year and still find shifting while on a higher speed technical run to not be intuitive, I find I still glance at the controller to shift, not always ideal. Could be a me thing but for myself, it fixed a problem that didn't exist at significant extra cost. I much prefer the XT on my trail bike.

Review: Norco Range VLT - The Purple Plow
Code RSCs felt pretty inadequate on my Bullitt which fits in the same category as the Norco reviewed here. Ditching the Codes for Hayes Dominions has been a game changer, worth every penny. Mavens would likely be a good choice but I've been scarred by bad experiences with SRAM/Avid brakes, going back to the Juicy era.

Review: 10 Months With Shimano's GE9 Gravity Shoes
@mrbrighteyes: I am an original ME7 super fan. My original pair is FIVE years old and barely showing much wear. I saw they were being discontinued and have a brand new pair on the shelf, so I'm good until 2030 or so.

Kona Bicycles' Parent Company Appoints New CFO, Intends to Sell Brand
@naptime: I agree, but a possible fallback "could" be a model similar to when KTM rescued the Husqvarna and Gas Gas nameplates. Today, all three brands are pretty much the same vehicles, but all three seem to be thriving. As a legacy brand, it's been sad to see Kona bikes becoming such poor values, and some new energy and associated deep pockets could only help.

Code RSC

$250 USD
2023 Code RSC with approx 600 miles. 200/220 rotors. Brakes currently have mtx pads installed with about 50% pad life remaining. Spare set of SRAM pads included. These are great brakes, but I changed them out for something with a feel I prefer.
