Spotted: Pivot’s 29er DH Bike - Crankworx Rotorua 2018
The seat tube looks very odd. It's like a bike from the late 1990s.

The REAL Story of That Single-Sided Carbon Fork
While this is really cool and innovative, what problem is being solved here? Are they severe enough to warrant this solution? What problems arise from this solution and do they out weigh the problems being solved? Is this a solution nobody was looking for?

Ask Pinkbike: Carbon Cranks, Winter Bike Setup, and Slow-Rolling Tires
While I agree there are more important upgrades to do to a bike (wheels, dropper post, etc.), I did notice a difference with the carbon cranks. They feel stiffer and I could actually feel the weight difference (I spin-to-win a lot, so maybe that has something to do with it?). Carbon cranks would be the last upgrade, but now that I've done it I don't regret it. - Al

Two Cyclists Arrested for Illegally Riding in Marin County
Look, if a trail is used a lot for hikers and horses, stay off it. Otherwise, FO! If I only rode legal trails there'd be nowhere to ride. This issue says more about local governments than it does the mountain bike community. British Columbia has embraced MTBs and is reaping the benefits. California won't be happy until you're 400 pounds, sitting on gov't approved couches, eating gov't approved chips, watching gov't approved TV programs. People are out enjoying the environment, why not embrace that? California is headed down a dark road and I will resist (and have been).

Now THAT Was a Bike: Yeti Lawwill DH6
I totally remember that bike. One came in to the shop in the mid-90s for a tune up. It was like a Porsche 918 coming in to the shop to get an oil change! Still good looking IMHO.
