Darren Pokoj, the young ambitious, but also experienced rider, is the brand new member of the Felt team. The 21 year old Australian caught a lot of eyes not only during the various contests he attempted worldwide in the last two years. Now he is looking forward to a very successful future with his new partner Felt.Darren showed his enormous potential numerous times in last season. Almost winning the Nissan Qashqai Challenge in Madrid Spain, he proved his very personal style. Nobody can do nosedive 360s like he can. So within the pro-scene they are just called “down under threes”. But Darren is not only into street and dirt jumping. Originally he had started with BMX twelve years ago, then he got into mountain bikes. He became a quite successful DH and 4-Cross rider, winning various national and international 4X and downhill competitions in 2004 and 2005. In 2006 he also focused on freeride and slope style competitions, e.g. winning the slopestyle at the Red Bull Trailfox, becoming the “Vienna Air King” or placing 5th at the Adidas Slopestyle and 6th at the Red Bull District Ride in Italy, even with a broken ankle!
It obviously can be stated, that Darren is one of the most versatile riders. Doesn’t matter if it’s downhill, dirt, slopestyle, street, park or just freeriding - Darren has that special feeling for his bike, like only a few guys have.
Felt produces a huge range of bikes for these different disciplines. Therefore it’s a perfect fit for Darren and for Felt. The USA based company has got only one goal: “To design, develop, and deliver the best bicycles in the world“. Darren will bring in all his knowledge and experience to support Felt in achieving this aim. Felt is building a high-class team right now, having signed riders like Joscha Forstreuter as well as Cameron Zink (winner Kokanee Crankworx-Slopestyle 2006). You can be sure, that there are some great innovations to come.
Right now, Darren is enjoying the down under summer at the Gold Coast of Australia. From April on he will spend most of his time in Europe to join all the international contests and to keep riding his bike all year long. You will be able to watch Darren`s riding skills the first time in 2008 at the Vienna Air King on April 19th and 20th in the middle of Vienna’s city center.
Felt and rasoulution wish Darren just the best for the next season. Stay the way you are, keep on rocking and go big.

He looks like an extra from a Good Charlotte video... and that's not a compliment.
Yeah yeah, let the negative props roll in... but you know your sister wants her skin tight jeans and eye-liner back
BMX is still the worst for the "emo look" or whatever they're calling themselves that isn't "emo" this week. Damn those kids love their tight jeans and black hair dye.
What the f*ck are we talking about? Haha
