Allot of these movies have gone away from the core of riding and film making and have fallen into the "To much Hype for its own good syndrome". I have yet to see a film that captures the true essence of Mountain biking like The Collective did. That right there was a classic for the ages.
the trailer looked badass it has some amazingly talented riders in it, but it doesnt deliver the stoke, but the start with the lil dudes section was hilarious. I liked the idea of who is crazy, cool concept but it turned out half baked. I dont know if its worth the retail price but it definitely worth the 7 bucks to get it VOD.
kranked 6 didnt suck borkos part was like so good it showed why mtn bikign is what it is,yo uguys like nwd cuz its all tricks on big jumps, dude go watch soem bmxing they do way better shit, kranked shows real tricks with style on real only mtn bike style trails,it shows why we are what we are not just another film that makes us look like a ripoff of bmx moves done in the 90's! not dissing nwd i love nwd but im just saying kranked series doesnt suck.
i was at the premier, and it failed utterly, the movie was ok, music WAY to loud, and the raffle turned into a grab-n-go fest. Andreu (the pro) pinched a pair of skull candy headphones from the table, hella funny.
My store gets copies earlier than anyone in Canada. We had it on Friday along with SEASONS. Helps that a Reyka guy lives near our shop. We get them hand delivered the day they're released before they get mailed out to any other shops/online retailers.
