A Tribute to Family, Friends, and MTB: This is a very public shout out to everyone who helped me through a tough period in my life, and a tribute to MTB. I'm blessed to have you in my life.
All Killer-No Filler: This year was insane. I moved from Slovenia to Kamloops, Canada in pursuit of epic riding and good times. It was one of those childhood dreams coming true and a big step up for me both riding riding wise and on a personal level as well. Could't be more stoked to show you what I managed to do in 2017. Hope you like the video!
Hardtail Hits with Tom Dunn: Tom Dunn has gone from a weekend warrior to a hardtail hero, he recently changed teams to Bird Cycleworks after winning the hardtail category at the 2016 British Enduro series and the 2017 Welsh Gravity Enduro series last year. Words from Tom Dunn: "I prefer to ride/race hardtails over a full suss any day. I love how wild they get and the fact you can do anything on them."
Ackerbier Turbo: Season recap from the Afro Biking squad.
Introducing - Katy Curd: Introducing Katy Curd to the Specialized UK family.
Chur Trip with Friends: Lost footage.
The Frozen Road: Self-shot and edited whilst cycling around the world, this short film charts my winter journey into the Canadian Arctic as I completed my bike ride up the American continent. Compelled by Jack London’s assertion, that ‘'any man who is a man can travel alone,’' I sought an adventure of perfect solitude. Yet, as I came to realize, the harsh truths of travelling in such a formidable environment were a long way from the romantic images I’d held of this land. The Frozen Road is an honest reflection on my solo trip; of the wonder, terror and frustration I experienced when riding through the unforgiving emptiness of one of the world's ''last great wildernesses.''
The Art Of Adventure - Chapter 2: Joey Schusler's Unexpected Journ: As Joey Schusler progressed in the world of filmmaking, so did the epicness of his adventures. From Mongolia to Mexico to Iceland, he's continually raised the stakes through his pursuit of secluded singletrack, uncharted territories and majestic landscapes.
Riding Fixed, Up Mountains, With Pros. - Ep. 3 Red Rock Canyon w/ Floyd Landis & Dave Zabriskie: Episode 3, we get down and dirty in the desert. Just outside of Las Vegas, we meet up with former Tour De France Yellow Jersey winners Floyd Landis and David Zabriskie to talk about pro cycling both past & present, and learn about their new venture Floyd's of Leadville. This is one of the most fun and candid interviews we've done so far. Hope you enjoy!
Still United - Full Film: Official full online release of the epic 2016 NORA cup winning full length.
Odyssey in London: Gary Young, Broc Raiford, Justin Spriet, Travis Hughes, Tariq Haouche, Olly Rendle, and Brad McNicol took to the streets of London and THREW DOWN on unique UK spots.
It's Later Than You Think - Teaser: Dakota Roche, Chase Hawk, Chase Dehart, Alex Kennedy, Sean Ricany more to be add...
Corey Duffel's "Not Alone" Part: Corey pushes skateboarding to the limits - spilling blood, crunching bones, and brazenly bucking boundaries. We are honored to share his next chapter.
My War - Chris Joslin: The Davis gap is one of those spots every skater should visit, because when you're standing on top of that mountain it's hard to imagine anybody making it to the bottom alive. Joslin turned the world upside down with his 360 flip. Here's a look at how it went down.
The Forecaster: Reading the snow is both an art and a science, but as the promise of deep powder draws more backcountry skiers to Utah’s Wasatch Mountains, avalanche forecaster Drew Hardesty is sharing more than a snow report. He’s speaking out, sharing a message that will change the way you think about skiing in the backcountry this winter.
Becoming History, 20 Years of Salomon TenEighty: Twenty years ago, the New Canadian Air Force and Salomon changed skiing forever with the release of the Teneighty ski. The original crew comes together in Whistler to celebrate the anniversary and look back at what has happened in the sport.
The American Lawn: Food and nature writer Michael Pollan says the American lawn is a symbol of what we want our community to be, but it’s also unnatural and a “peculiar institution.” Pollan was in town this summer and joined us to talk about all that grass.

THE FROZEN ROAD.
What a well made short film. It's hard to imagine anyone doing what he set out to do but to do all the filming himself? Just incredible!
It annoys me a bit that the producer and Brett are trying to copy Rupert Walker and Brandon Semenuk.
it's not original and the way its made it's hard to say that it's just a satire. in other words, it could be labeled as a Rip Off, sad.
It's sad to see that people with potential are not pulling the trigger either because they're ashamed of their own unique style or because they haven't found themselves yet. To be able to put their style and vision on the board.
so much potential but all of it, not used right.
Yes, inspiration was drawn from Revel Co. Yes, the vibes and feels are similar. Lapse is a f*cking awesome short, I will never deny that and it certainly left an impression on many viewers (including myself) - massive props to Revel Co. for creating such a lasting piece in an era when these videos are so disposable and rarely rewatched.
Labeling our work as a rip off due it's moody visuals, moody music, and a voiceover is counterintuitive of creating good quality content. Inspiration is drawn from many different places and comes in many different forms, I also drew inspiration from Valvolines "Never Idle" campaign, quasar science's instagram page, Joe Simon....really the list goes on and on - happy to show anyone who questions this our moodboard. Lapse was on our inspiration list, and it ultimately guided us in a small way, but our context, subject matter, shot list, and techniques are entirely different than those used in Lapse. I'm open to hearing what else is similar other than the three things I pointed out are. This is not a new genre of film and it will be replicated, recreated, reimagined, and reworked in the future - that is really all art is.
As a casual observer, I'm leaning more towards it was a blatant ripoff. There's nothing wrong with that and you have to admit they're pretty similar comparing them side by side. I'm not sure how us stating they look similar would limit your creating of good/quality content.
I gladly would show my curiosity to other, more different edits.
I hope to see something, inspired by yourself.
