Here I am just like the others. Definitely shed a tear or two for this one. Very inspirational movie bro. Over the past year I have been battling stage 4 colon cancer and had surgery just in November which came with a lot of complications. I managed to have a 12 min ride three days ago which was the first ride in months and being on the bike can truely be a healing experience. Keep up the good vibes, smiles and cherish your Family&Friends. We all need to do these things.

I know I did a similar ride after two weeks and felt so slow and non connected to the bike.... But it was a huge mile stone. Thank you for sharing that . When I first found out it was a massive shock. There was no family history of it, and all I kept thinking in my head was that my little girl Emmeline was going to grow up without her dad there. After a couple weeks and starting chemo I got my game face on and chemo was actually great for me. My health improved greatly with treatment. I gained a massive amount of perspective through all of this along with a huge appreciation for life's little moments. I'm up to 30 minute rides now and feeling more comfortable on the bike. Obviously having a close family is a huge motivation to keep fighting but having a hobby like biking for a personal motivation has been a huge help in my physical recovery. I find out on the 14th if my surgery was a complete success or if there are more treatments ahead. I'll keep you posted. Hope you are doing well. Cheers.

@JimmyI: Mate I'm so proud of you.Putting the game face on is so hard.Took me a while to do it as I had the same thoughts as you. Its def a life changing experience.I cant believe how much ive changed in 3 months.I cant describe it but I just feel I have a bit more purpose and I'm enjoying the little things and savouring the big moments. Please let me know how you go on the 14th.Im cheering for you and praying for you.Im doing great mate thanks.I get the odd bad day thinking about what could have been but I expect that and have been told how to deal with it.All the best

I think this is one of the affecting home movies I have ever seen, thank's Scott Sicco and pink bike take that kind of movie to Monday compilation.

So glad you get more time with the fam and on the bike. One of my biggest fears, it's touched both friends and family. Balled through this whole thing. Riding will keep us alive forever...it's truly what I believe.

Hey bud I was down Mudgee way a year ago for a wedding . I know what you mean . Fuck cancer indeed! Very touching tribute to your family and mates and heartiest congratulations on your fight. I totally know how you have felt and what you have gone through. I agree that the feel good factor from MTB-ing is second to none and it does help with the recovery and fitness.
I was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma in 2013, had a relapse in 2014 and rediagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. Had a stem cell transplant in 2015 and was in remission for 2 years. Relapsed again in April 2017 and have been undergoing two chemo regimes since. The downtime sucks as the accumulation of chemo screws up my cardio fitness. Just had a CT scan today and wish me luck!
Back to you, much much love from a fellow MTB rider. May drop by Brissy one of these days for a ride out at some of its trails.

FUCK CANCER! This was a brilliant edit, and lovely tribute! Great to see PB have this type of clip on MM. You can see you have a real passion for both the bike and your friends and family. Getting out for any sort of ride does the mind and body the world of good, so I can only imagine how good it felt for you after the stumbling block!! Also, some great little angles and production.....keep em coming!

I kind of agree mate.We always get these sick edits with big productions and pro riders...That's really cool and I always watch them....they make me sick with their ridiculous perfection hahahaha.....this is more a story and a way of moving on from me.It was filmed on a low end go pro and I used windows movie maker to edit......I only made for the people in the vid but put it on PB just to show my MTB brothers and sisters how strong MTB can be for us..
I really do have a wonderful family and the support they gave me was world class. Mate I think in time this will be the greatest thing that has happened to me as I can already notice a change in me.Thanks for watching ,it means a lot mate.....FUCK CANCER

I remember finding out and telling loved ones and close mates and realising the impact it had on them.I just had to pay them back for everything they gave me . Thanks josh . I've certainly come out of this s different person . Maybe a bit more carefree in what people think of me and my view on life. Thanks for the years of support mate. Men's health is so important snd if doing this vid can show blokes that it's ok to love ya mates, kiss ya dad at almost 50 yo and show some emotion I'm happy
