Wow, the mountain bike community truly showed it's heart for one of our own with this contest. As you may have read Mountain Bike Photographer Colin Meagher is battling ALS, so his friends put together a fundraiser to help with medical costs and ALS research. It's a disease without a cure.

Colin and family are overwhelmed by the response to the GoFundMe. Thank you to all of you who have donated! Here are the winners of the awesome prize packs for people who donated before January 10, 2019. While the prizes are all spoken, for you can still donate here.

bigquotesColin taught me that mountain biking is more than a sport!  Colin taught me why I NEED to care about my headtube angle. Colin taught me why you should never keep wearing a cracked helmet. The pattern here is how selfless and giving Colin is.  We need to now give back to Colin and help him to fight because that is what he would do for us.

bigquotesI met Colin in Whistler at the first Bike Mag Bible of Bike Tests many years ago, and we got along immediately sharing our surly sarcasm over beers. Over the past years, I've always enjoyed randomly running into him while he's shooting Crankworx events and having all too short on the fly catch ups. I'll miss those run-ins, but am heartened by the outpouring of support for him during this new challenge he and his family face.

Just listened to his interview on The Inside Line podcast. Seems like such a great guy who's given a lot to the sport. Glad to see the industry come together to support one of its legends.

A good friend died from ALS a few months ago... it's not funny. I know there's no cure but we shore can make it a bit easier for those who suffer. If i come to win any prize i'll donate the value of it back to Colin... mark my words.

 Props, and sorry to hear!

For anybody who wants to see how devastating this illness can be, watch “Gleason” on Netflix. It had a huge impact on my level of compassion for people who are fighting ALS and similar ailments. There needs to be a level of awareness that’s greater than it is today so that we can all band together to fight this

Ok, we have until next Friday to help support Colin and his family. Thank you Sarah Moore and Pinkbike for doing something right. Doing something bigger than just parts and riding. A worldwide community that maybe sticks together just a little bit.

Amen. Super cool to see this gofundme explode into a giant industry-backed raffle. Been sharing the link everywhere I can too.

 Fkna! thank you!

Wow. I donated & hope the funds we generated really help.
I had no idea there were that many crazy prize packs. Shows how many industry people he's touched for that much to be offered up.

If anybody doesn't need their prize, you could figure out a way to raffle off your own prize to keep raising funds if needed.

Colin introduced me to the fine art of huckleberry picking during the Trans BC Enduro. Let's help him get back out there!

Of all the different horrible things out there, there is something particularly horrific about ALS. It's one of those that genuinely frightens me. I know that Colin and his family are in for a hell of a battle and it's cool to see so much support. Probably going to cave and make donation #4 since this is still up.

Combination of what companies donated...not like you get to full on pick everything.
  • 3 0
Just shorten the Durolux down to 140mm with a few travel spacers and its 140mm BC ripping machine.

I suppose so. We have a new over-forked champion! Big Grin

@mtbikeaddict: The bike comes complete with a fox 36 on it. rowdy
  • 1 1
@Getradbro: Ah, just checked the website... BC edition, has 140mm rear. That makes more sense. I missed that... Was thinking something like the normal thunderbolt's 120mm, hence the confusion lol
