by Aidan Oliver

The sixth edition the of Santa Cruz Andes Pacifico began earlier this week, with 120 racers making the journey to Chile to race from the challenging heights of the Andes to the beach of Cachagua on the Pacific Ocean.

Pinkbike's man on the ground Dave Trumpore has been bringing you all the action. Check out the Day 1 Photo Report, the Day 2/3 Photo Report and the Tech Round Up.

Pedro Burns and Flo Espiñeira currently lead the race, but racing still going on until Sunday. In the meantime, here's a small social round up of the goings on at the Andes Pacifico.

What did we miss?

@A813H: A hematoma (Big ass blood blister thing, quite serious) on his leg and Compatment syndrome too. Compartment syndrome is hella serious it can stop the blood draining from the leg. He's having surgery to sort it all out. Best wishes and good luck to him!
