The Bike Brothers” combines real world-class athletes with the magical world of film. The story of the siblings is told in an unconventional way.

Szymon and Dawid Godziek are athletes who can already boast some impressive achievements on the international bike scene. However, for the first time ever fans can now explore another side to them. Thanks to a unique production, the skills of the boys are presented in a completely different light. “The Bike Brothers” is an engaging story with the bike siblings playing the leading roles and impersonating legendary movie characters. In spite of their experience, the Godziek brothers confessed that the new challenge evoked some stage fright.

I was involved in such production for the first time in my life. Knowing that you’re the centre of attention was quite stressful. I was trying to do my tricks as good as I can and, of course, face the acting challenge,” said Dawid Godziek about his preparations for the film.

Working on a professional set is much different than making clips with your buddies. Just setting up the cameras and obstacles required a lot of effort. We were on the set 16 hours per day. It wasn’t easy – the days started at 4am and finished after dark.” - Szymon Godziek

The film features a guest appearance by Alan Andersz, who played the role of a detective chasing the main characters. The Godziek brothers are already successful in their sport, but thanks to this production they got the chance to show off their skills to a wider audience and it was the perfect excuse to present freestyle at its best. The footage captured is bound to be well received - the final scene alone sees Szymon land the world’s first Backflip Stripper!

There are many exceptional moments in the history of extreme films, but the Polish production “The Bike Brothers” is breaking new ground. Jen Sheroky was the person behind writing the script as well as shooting director for “The Bike Brothers”. Production was carried out by Graffiti Films in collaboration with Jen Sheroky and Adam Tunikowski. Post-production was supervised by Juice with support from the Dashdot team. Music was composed by Filip Kuncewicz and costume design by Angelika Paszek. The whole production process lasted a year and involved over 100 people.

 15 minutes with redbull player.....

If I was the director/writer Jen Sheroky I would be hiding in a cave for a few years, or just change my name so I could start over.
  • + 3
guess i'm not watching it then...
  • + 4
i thought it was worth a watch? a bit different, odd certainly but worth a look
  • + 2
@Swiatek was the redbull player slow? xD @russthedog it is worth to see if you are looking after something different
but it was still a boring video...
  • + 4
 WTF did I just watch?
  • + 33
 Pretty gay honestly
  • + 8
The awesomeness in this video was the actual lack of it. Amazing Riders unable to be captured for their greatness, A plot line that was given no opportunity to offer any interesting moments, and the perfect blend of the poorest use of CG, comic style story boarding and voice overs. I highly recommend this video to anyone that feels like they need to be disappointed so the remaining videos they watch will seem that much better.

haha yea the true has been spoken xD this video was ok but its not worth to watch the whole thing just the first minutes

Dude, it is really inexcusable to use gay to describe things as bad. Drop the intolerant language and live up to your screenname! And to the homies who upvoted this- c'mon.
  • + 2
hahaha im pretty sure you are gay @eastonsmith xD naah just a joke dude
but you must agree that this video suck!
  • + 0
Video totally sucked. I'm not gay. It's not funny for the people you're are tacitly discriminating against. It's an embarrassment for the mountain bike community to tolerate this sort of language.
  • + 3
I thought Gay meant happy? Why do you people keep changing meanings of words to confuse others?
  • + 1
 Hahaha yea right! xD
  • + 29
simply...... what the actual f. was that?
  • + 25
off-season is officialy GO. I loved it, that was original, a good way to break the monotony of "sick edits".
  • + 6
 agree.
  • + 6
This was so cool! Simon did a fricken striper backflip!!!!!!!
  • + 9
This is fantastic. Nice to see something different than the same old whips over bike park jumps.
  • + 18
WTF is everyone on about!!! It is a really cool video! All those references to old movies! The look of the film was also really nice. Pinkbike comments just keep getting worst! What a bunch a spoilt tasteless sad moaners you all are. Never happy with anything! Sheesh.
  • + 17
"Even scary hotels could not stop him!". I laughed hard on this.
  • + 13
riding starts at.... well there is no riding really, just some overly edited shots
  • + 11
that was a waste of time. they should be embarrased
  • + 14
Would you be embarrassed if you just did the worlds first MTB stripper flip?!
  • + 6
When I was in film school we had classes that were dedicated to purposely over using and abusing all the different effects in whatever editing software we might be learning. This method is to help students "get it out of their system" so when they make the real final edits that count later on, you avoid mistakes like this... This video is prime example of that overusing mistake commonly made in video editing. And I hate to say this because its obvious this shoot/edit took some serious time and effort but the simple fact is ya'll over done did it overly alot way too much... A+ for effort though

Also some good advice I was given by a big time Hollywood editor a many years ago: Nobody wants to hear that voice for longer than 2.5 minutes.
  • + 8
RedBull please contact me next time, I can make nicer 3D than that.
  • + 8
Props for just doing something different, keeping things interesting
  • + 3
If there was ever a reason to take up substance abuse this edit would be it. What is this grand theft bike? the bmx scenes in Spielberg's ET were moar authentic, and inspiring. This is what happens when you browse facebook for material to add to yer web page. Whats next cat vids? Okay i know a lil harsh. Im just having trouble adjusting to the offseason. gunna be a long winter.
  • + 3
I liked it, then again I'm also in school for theater and arts along with other involvements in film besides riding. So perhaps I see it differently than others who are just looking for raw and low edited riding footage...
2 cents
  • + 3
This was a waste of Red Bull drinkers money.

-Unfortunately, because the idea has great potential. But everything was just so over done! Less is more and KISS is obviously two lessons these guy's never learned.

Also: I hate all over-dramatic overdub voices, RedBull, I beg you: Stop doing that, just stop. It hurts.

It's a different approach to bike videos and it hasn't been done yet... but i think it is way way way WAAAAAAAAY too much...
Keep bike videos raw and dirty.

i prefer this: www.pinkbike.com/news/video-pure-darkeness-the-roadtrip.html
  • + 1
Well that was pretty different. I don't now if I liked it a lot, but props to them for trying out something new, and pushing the limits. I personally love to see them riding and a video like Dawids last one just blows my mind: www.pinkbike.com/news/dawid-godziek-autumn-chill-video-2014.html I would probably rather see a edit like than that cinematic 3D, but props to them for trying it out Smile

  • + 3
It took a minute of my time but, haha I had to laugh cause, Redbull? you whizzed it good that time
  • + 1
Gonna be honest, was listening to "Journey of the Sorceror" by the Eagles, and this seemed a whole lot more epic than the comments made it sound. Not gonna risk hearing the audio for this one.
  • + 3
That Backflip Stripper was insane.. Would love to see the raw footage of that. Szymon is crazy
  • + 3
Thought it was gon be about canfield bros
  • + 3

Now this is what I called an "original video "
  • + 1
It's like someone with a deep voice was looking to talk, it didn't much matter that he had nothing worth saying.
  • + 1
Frank Miller (Sin City, 300, The Spirit) is making mountain bike videos now?

Give me a big enough CGI budget and I too can look like the gay Ba$tard child of Dave Mirra and Brendon Semenuck!!!!

What a waste of my life that film was!!

Not sure Pinkbike is really the venue for crappy De Sica references.
