Women do rad stuff on bikes all the time. Today, we look back at a few of the monumental moments that have taken place in the last year and celebrate some huge wins.
I am sure Christina that there are ladies out that look up to you and have been inspire to ride as a result of your stuff. I love to see so much more woman in the bike park and trails, keep shredding ladies !!!!!!!
I would love to see Rachel and Vali battle it out for a full season. It was great seeing Vali finally find her consistency and live up to the potential greatness which we could always see glimpses of.
And after her historic run a Hardline, I'm looking forward to what Gracey will do this WC season.
How about young Island girl Emmy Lan? This two-time UCI EDR U21 World Cup overall winner , DH dabbler, mentor and creator of grassroots events for girls and general gem of a human is making her mark, doing women proud and bringing up the next generation of sister shredders with her along the way.
Great video. It's fun to see all the cool stuff women are doing. These are also just cool moments in MTB over the past year. thanks for recognizing Alexandra Houchin's mad ride on the Tour Divide. That's a super fun race to follow. Endurance racing isn't a usual topic on Pink Bike, but I'm here for it. Also with Alicia, I'm down to hear more about her other adventures with paragliding. It's fun to sprinkle in some other outdoor sports that our favorite MTB riders also participate in.
Not really a "moment," but I thought one of the great things of 2023 was getting to see the Juniors racing all season.
The highlight for me was when the young women from New Zealand - Erice Van Leuven, Poppy Lane and Sacha Earnest - swept the podium at the World Championships.
The Transition Factory Team for sure. That group of ladies put in a lot of impressive podium appearances. (Yes, I know Tristan was on the team, but injuries kept him out of a lot of the season.)
What's the percentage of female vs male (members) on this site? I assume it's gradually increasing, just like the number of female riders in MTB? 30/70? 20/80? Talk to me.
