 I literally have a super fun mtb trail 3 miles from my house, and can just hop on my bike (gt sensor) and hit the trails for a complete mind-zen vacation from reality. There's nothing quite like it, other than snowboarding (which costs a LOT more money to actually do). I've been infatuated with 2-wheel moving since I was a kid, and I can't imagine biking not being a huge part of my life.

 This! I can do a 25min loop from my house that has a 3min technical descent in it. I can MTB every day, and every day is a good day to MTB. A mini-vacation every single day.

 Fat thumbs accidental downvote! MTb is second only to snowboarding for me as far as that blissful flow state feeling. May I recommend backcountry; more like MTB when you’re earning your turns and much cheaper after you pony up for the equipment.

 Dog running caboose on that train is the way to go. I see many dogs out front and that has got to end badly sooner or later.

 1 pal and I squeezed in a post-work ride yesterday. A few whoops and holler later I was a new man. Pushing harder than on a normal weekend ride I got down to the 12 tooth cog. Getting the bike around all those corners without hitting trees on Rt.66 at that pace is f'n fun.

 Hello mate. It's not Span. I don't understand why it was rated below the threshold, I was just wondering who these girls are that I don't know. I said it politely.  @trisquel: you responded 7 times in a row with the same questions, then again later on with the same questions. They are below threashold because people are down-voting your comments. People are down-voting your comments because you are repeating yourself a bunch of times. Only you hold the key to preventing that from happening.

To answer your question, the ladies in the video are not UCI DH racers. Since you're grasp of female mountain bikers appears to be limited to UCI DH, that's why you don't recognize anyone. Google can be your friend, I'm sure you can find something out about their backgrounds if you try.
