 Nobody ever pedals sitting down in these photos. Everyone is always full-on race attack-mode even on a mellow singletrack uphill.

 Just like every scene in a 3 minute edit of a 7 hour ride is dudes skidding in and sprinting out of every corner. It looks cool, but it's not a very accurate description.
