pocketwizards is one choice, but in some cases you can use de camera timelaps feature and programer it for take as much picture you can in a laps of 5 secs o more an calculate the time that takes you to get to the shoot spot and do the effort to make it work, honestly is easier than it looks like
Hi Queenie! Thanks for the kind words! I shoot pretty much exclusively with Panasonic Micro 4/3 systems. When I'm not shooting in self portraiture mode, I shoot everything in RAW. For this and other self-portraits, I use their 6K photo system. It basically shoots at up 30 jpegs per second. I'll set the shot up with a tripod and compose it the way I would any photo, then I release the shutter, ride through my shot, and pull the specific photos I am looking for. The files are massive as you would expect, but I much prefer this to using a remote or trigger. I can ride much more naturally and not have to worry about finding a place on my bars for a remote or anything like that. Pretty useful for the work I do here as well as creating value for my sponsors. Cheers!
@briceshirbach: I just checked our your selfies... That is the first time I have used that term in a positive way. Nicely done, there are some fantastic shots in there.
@briceshirbach: Hey Brice, so sorry for the late reply - didn't get any kind of notification saying you'd replied! Thanks for the info Look forward to seeing more work of yours in the future!
Fantastic shot! I'm curious as to how you take your self portraits - do you have a remove somewhere on your bars/in your hand?
I'd like to give it a go myself but wasn't sure on the logistics of actually taking the photo.
Any advice appreciated
Thanks
Queenie
