it certainy didnt save me, when i rode at ft bill, i broke 2 fingers, although the fractures were less than a mm long

i liked when he took a digger at either bromont or msa and his hands were just plastered in the greasy kinda mud and he was whipeing them off on trees and such

yeah but it still doesnt save you if you hit a tree/rock with your back so it's kinda stupid wearing a neck brace but no back protecion

True, but the neck is alot more fragile and less protected than the back.
And its better than wearing no protection at all

Full body armour is for protecting the back, sadly not the ribs which i found out 4 weeks ago when i hit a tree and broke my ribs

Riding without gloves feels so much nicer but your hands hurt after a while so i swap between gloves and gloveless quite alot.

@ Hoshi: If you break your C3/4 vertebrae, you're talking wheelchair for the rest of your life. If you sustain a nasty back injury, there's much higher chance bot of recovery and that the injury will be much less severe.
