Its All About The Money & deal Belive Me saracen make shit bikes but cheap bikes and sell so many so the the deal will be miles better Than ScottBikes and he will only be running the frame! beacuse hes not going to drop from marzocci, gusset, aclass, formula, to ride the shit that come on the saracens So He Will Be Changing A Hella Lot Of Parts!
yeah but look..... everyones comments would you rather ride a sarasen frame from halfords or a scott voltage frame? i mean for f*cks sake, what a dumb ass
like ive jsut said on facebook there always reason for evrythin tbh the frame might be good to ride yano part NO frame Mayb ? Still Sick Rider, DIAMONDBACK and SAM PILGRAM how many people laughed at that 2009 hes best year yet!!!
& EVRYBODY LOOK THIS WONT BE THE BIKE HE WILL BE RIDING FOR ONE HE DUNT USE FRONT BRAKES OR ANYTHIN LIKE THAT SO CALMDOWN WITH THIS SHIT ABOUT LOOK AT THAT BIKE HE WILL ONLY BE RUNNING THE FRAME PEOPLE
That is a stock model. The parts wont be like that when he builds his up.. go to the site, lance wouldn't drop gusset, mar, aclass, formula, halo, and whoever else.. just as Whatyou3gg said.
Lance Mcdermott Will Make Sarcen A Bigger Bike Comapany Than They Ever Was But I Can See Where All You Pinbiker Are Coming From But the LIKE SARECEN IS COMPANY THAT DOES ANFACTURING FOR OTHER FRAMES just like S&M MAKE BLKMARKET FRAMES ETC ETC
For those slagging off saracen, yes, they've had a few crap crap years, but heres the story. The guys making the shit saracens went bust. The NAME (yes, only the name) got bought by some new guys, and they're making ENTIRELY NEW bikes, which are actually quite nice. So before you start jumping the gun and slagging them off, they are in fact an all new company, not the saracen which destroyed its own name a few years ago whilst trying to bridge the halfords 'affordable' BSO's and the real bike market. And its true, lance is sponsered by saracen, and that doesn't mean by RST and all the other stuff on that bike as well. So, perhaps a chill out guys and think a little :/ hope this clears things up a little, Olly
"He'll be using kit from his existing componentry sponsors, including Gusset and Alex Wheels, but his frames will be the same stock models you can buy in the shops (complete bikes start at just £359.99). The 23-year-old from Manchester, England will also work with Saracen on developing his own signature model as part of the three-year deal."
i read that aswell, people dont understand the concept of buying a company "braned" look at some of the companies madison distribute for, obviously theyve made a very calculated desicion on this, can wait to see the future developments for both rider and comapny, personally, i think they will go a veryyyy long way, and i doubt its purely for the money, as scott are a fairl big company, and they dont just produce bikes
either way, straight up.. that frame looks sick, has sick geometry, and is cromo. Build that up with parts a professional athlete would get, and it would probably be a super-smooth, super nice bike, weighing it at i would say the 29lb mark.. i would ride that frame anyday, as long as i could build it up nice"er"
dam so many of you are being dip shits, its a completely new bike from the uk importer Madison, along with the new XC bike and DH proto. in a half i year i hope you will all being eating you words along with you keyboard so you cant project miss informed denigrative rubbish across the net.
yeah, but its not just UK importer madison... it is now Saracen owner madison, obviously their all new bikes, the last lot were garbage to say the least
yes, but if saracen takes off into the high end bikes then his name will be imprinted on British riding history, compared to just being yet another rider for scott.
think about it
yeah, he would be the guy that re-invented Saracen, look at muddyfox (i think) the athertons left and it all went downhill, not literraly coz i dont think they make a dh bike no, but asthetically speaking
no, in an article i read, for the first year hes riding the amplitude the aluminium and cromo versions (hes on the cromo one) alghough im pretty sure it will be a different spec, and they will be looking into a signature bike
Remember guys they all laughed at skoda, but they were world champs in their class for about ten years, and that was before vw bought the badge, saracen will have some massive clout, and i hope they and the riders do well.
plus they are now owned by Madison....... one of the biggest cycling trade distributors in the business! look at their genesis bikes, they are the nuts! also as far as im aware they are pullin out of halfords! and saracen frames have always been pretty bombproof! and the old skool ones were lovely, just give madison a year or two and they will be a brand people want again! ive already seen pics of their new kili flyer and its gorgeous! plus the dh proto looks bang on!
I wish people wuld actually read instead of looking pictures and jumping to conclusion's!
The only thing he will change is the frame, from Scott to Saracen.
Saracen is just the brand name to, its a totally different company running it now so things are bound to change!
This can only be a good thing!
have you guys seen the new saracen frames...they are pretty awesome looking...I'm no old saracen fan...but new small light cromo hardtails in crazy colours works for me!
i dunno why your all sayin shit lance mcdermott is 10x the rider any of u have left comments in here including me and hell trash on any bike just cos you all have ot have your bikes set up with sickest parts to still be shit riders, faggots
if we use the pictured amplitude cr2 for example. it uses a lot of own brand saracen components. with the exeption of the formula hubs, rst forks, tecktro brakes. and a few outhers. but for £459RRP i dont think its to bad.
lance mcdermott's mtb career = pull your pants down..... epic face...... PLOP!! ahhhhhhh

you dod realise they are releasing there own high end dh frame?
looks pretty sweet i'd say. Don't knock it till you've tried it.
