The bike as is with welgo pedals, xc tubes,Ti spring, and high rollers is 36.8. Little bit lighter than the 00 because of the wheels(a lot), forks, cranks (i think) , and the brakes.
obviously this is an opinion and the neg prop is all good at least I know what decent components are... Fox racing shox is the number one world seller with their sub 7lb fork..what has zocchi got even with a ti spring and dont get me started on boxxer they cant even figure out how to level the playing field with three f*ckin forks on the market( race, team, and world cup)... yeah sam hill rides it big f*ckin deal... you ever heard its the rider not the ride...
How are Boxxers not "decent components?" The Boxxer has won more DH races than any other fork on the market. Rock Shox has been making high quality race-winning mountain bike suspension products for over twice as long as Fox has (1989 vs 2001). RS was making Boxxer 151s when Fox was still prototyping Vanilla 125 RLCs. Seriously think about your statements before you make them next time.
nah, Rockshox have been making mtb forks for a long time, but have never made 'high quality' stuff, they're full of nasty plastic bits and have crap quality seals and bushings, their internal assemblys are poorly/cheaply designed and their fork's damping systems are very sub-par to Fox's.
And please... place a boxer at the top of a hill and it will not win a race, it will just sit there - I hate to think how many more races Peaty might have won if he was using Fox forks. Rockshox feel like spongy/sticky crap on all models I've ever ridden, you simply can't say that about Fox forks!
I didn't realize the bottom of the downtube was red like that... very nice. Giant should have really showed that off o their website, because this 3/4 view looks way better than a plain side-view. That's a good lookin' bike.
ya you go ahead and tell me the history.. its funny that Fox has surpassed rockshox in very little time as the #1 fork seller.. should I mention the amount of time again... prototype or not you think that rockshox would have a decent fork by now... I blew a wc's seals on the UCI angel fire course... Now tell me again who has decent components??
icedemon05lrb, it is indeed the rider not the bike - I'll beat you on a shopping bike AND I wont put down other riders with bikes equally shit as my own. There I said it.
the red is freakin mint. it make it look more like a racing machine. and my personal opinion are that boxxers are better, they go will with the colour scheme. where as the fox's i think wouldn't. maybe it would if the red was grey
