GENERAL FUNCTION You recognize yourself when you enter our store. You love to talk about all things bike as much as you love to ride them. You always scope out the latest news or product release, and enjoy sharing your enthusiasm with Customers. It’s easy for you to start up natural, friendly conversations, adapt to different types of Customers, and resolve issues with a smile. You like to work as part of a team as you improve your individual skills on the sales floor. Your success in this role will be measured through personal and productivity goals plus your ability to provide a great in-store experience to every Customer. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction by being knowledgeable on all products offered, and teaming up with co-workers to provide excellent sales service • Delivering sales, outstanding customer experience, and operational expectations • Maintaining personal and productivity goals • Connects with every customer by asking open-ended questions to assess needs • Ability to learn and share expertise of products and trends to fit customer’s needs • Maintains an awareness of all product knowledge, and current or upcoming product / trends • Contributes to a positive and inclusive work environment BASIC QUALIFICATIONS • 0-3 year of retail experience • Experience in Mountain Biking and/or Road Cycling is a must. • Confident and comfortable engaging customers to deliver an elevated experience • Motivated to achieve great results because of one's enthusiasm from interacting with customers and bikes • Initiates completion of tasks or activities without necessary supervision • Flexible availability – including weekends, and holidays ADDITIONAL INFORMATION • The position is Full-Time and is a 1-year contract to start. • Ready to start by March 1st 2019 • Compensation commensurate upon experience. • You need to be legally eligible to work in Canada and must have a valid work permit.

GENERAL FUNCTION With customer service being our top priority, Dunbar Cycles’ Bicycle Mechanic must provide exemplary skills in both product knowledge and relationship building. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Detailed and extensive knowledge of bicycles of all types, parts, tools, service techniques and parts compatibility • Attention to detail and efficient and tidy work ethic • Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced work environment as well as being able to work as part of a team • Ability to talk to customers in a friendly and open manner, efficiently assess and diagnose their bicycle concerns and explain the repair service to the customer in an easy manner • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues under pressure but to the highest standard • Building new bikes for the sales floor BASIC QUALIFICATIONS • A minimum of 1-3 year’s previous experience working in the service department in the cycling industry • Comfortable working with high-end mountain and road bikes • Comfortable working with all types of hydraulic components • Positive attitude and self-motivated • Willingness to do “whatever it takes” • Passionate about riding • Flexible availability – including weekends, and holidays DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS • A detailed knowledge of suspension forks and shocks, servicing and tuning, suspension kinematics, bearing overhauls. • Knowledge of electronic gear installation. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION • The position is Full-Time and is a 1-year contract to start. • Compensation commensurate upon experience. • You need to be legally eligible to work in Canada and must have a valid work permit. • Work permit sponsorship is available for this position

You obviously don't follow her on any social media, but she has been struggling with a bad wrist injury for the last couple years. This year has been a real struggle for her to even ride, let alone race at the level she does. Any professional athlete that can persevere through barely being able to hold on to the handle bar and still take second nationally deserves every bit of support/respect. Go check out her latest instagram updates, where she is getting needles jabbed in her wrist non stop and tell me she isn't working her butt off to be where she is.
