how did you do the light trail without getting the faded image of the person moving the light around??? everytime i do it i get a blurred image of me moving the light source

Probably a longer exposure time... And eventually a stronger light.

Phil (the owner of the bike) is a Pro Photographer, he said long exposure time with camera (Canon professional digital) on tripod

20+ sec exposure for the background. LED maglight for the light trail - wear black and walk through the frame (don't stand still anywhere), 2 flashguns for the exposure on the bike. All done in-camera.
