Yeah, the only thing I was thinking on my way down was "I'd better not smash that guy's awesome camera!". Are you doing Spring Thaw this coming weekend?

we'll, ask him about the law of antropy. it basically states that matter, given x amount of time, will go from order to disorder, almost completely disproving evolution. ask why theres still monkeys, and ask about how he thinks the earth was made, and how an explosion can make something as beautiful as the earth we live on. I'd mainly just question him, and be kind. also just make it a routine thing if you can, to converse about logic. just make sure to do your studying so that you can have a valid arguement, and go to www.godandscience.org it really helps.

hmm.. classic case. Give him time, and be sure not to press anything on him that would scare him away from christianity. The bible says that everything in the world crys out his name, and by the glory of his creation, everyone knows deep down that something greater made it. Theres simply no excuse. Just remember, christianity is not a "Get out of Hell card" as all of us seem to make it, but its a light at the end of the tunnel, he frees us from our sins, stays by our side, and is always looking over you. God fixes our wounds, and helps us in every way imaginable. When he realizes that theres something different about you,and all other believers, he'll start to change his mind. In the meantime, just be kind to him, and maybe kindly question some of his logic. I find the best way to reach out to people is to ask what they think, and share your faith. Be strong, and don't give up on him. I'm praying for you!

well, only god knows why he wants us to worship him, and frankly i don't really want to go there. But the punishment for your friend not going to church is the same punishment for you stubbing your toe and cussing, you looking at a pretty lady in a lustfull way, and for committing any other sin. The verse about skipping sabbath was written before Jesus died for our sins, so it wasn't forgiven, therefore the punishment was death. But because of the fact that Jesus was the perfect sacrafice, our sins have been forgiven. So that being said, be careful when you talk about him, because you, and I, and everyone on earth have sinned too, and are just as imperfect as he is. Instead of dwelling on what he's done, try to reach out to him, invite him to churc, a bible study, etc.
