Ask Pinkbike: My Kid Keeps Crashing, & Tire Tips for Moab
How about a DHR up front with a Maxxis griffon in the rear. I ride that in fruita and Grand junction. It held up nicely.

Here's Kona's All-New Satori Trail Bike - First Look
@rollingdip: what's the budget and tolerances on air plane manufacturing? It's not really a apples to apples comparison. But yeah I get it, I just don't want a rear triangle with this type of suspension design. To each their own as the saying goes

Here's Kona's All-New Satori Trail Bike - First Look
Hmm, I respect the durability of konas but a rear triangle that depends on the flexibility of aluminum while resisting fatigue over the lifespan of the bike would make me a little apprehensive.

Ask Pinkbike: A Slippery Wheel, A Used Bike that's Too Good to Be True and the Elusive Alloy DH 29er
My last two bikes have been used rental purchases. I just got a patrol from Granby Ranch. The wheels were clapped out, but I knew I wanted to replace them anyways. The other components were fine. It depends on what your willing to give and take regarding the bike you want and your budget.

2017 Pinkbike Awards: Mountain Bike of the Year Winner
Loved my remedy, but I got tired of the proprietary components... They did away with drcv, adopted the knockblock headset. Great. To each their own I suppose

Patrol 672 – Review
I like the reviews on sub 3K bikes, keep them coming. But let's not approach the review from a top of the line perspective. A lot of people buying this price point are stoked just to have a bike that's capable of a good time
