Interview: Norco Explains Rebrand & Stays Tight-Lipped About 'No Other Way' Mystery Bike
I really hope Norco doesn't end up letting their marketing department run the company the way they does at Specialized, for example. When bike manu's start making design decisions based on what paper-pushers and accountants want in their ad copy...

Pinkbike Poll: Wild or Mild - What Makes A Bike Look Great?
@bman33: Sorry it took me so long, I've been knocked out by Covid and haven't been online much but getting better now. Yes, full wrap, no original paint showing. You can see the seams where the wrap meets under the tubes, but from a few feet away it isn't obvious.

Ask Pinkbike: Tips for Beginners, Brakes Issues, Drilling Carbon, & Shock Tunes
To add to what Spiral23 said, it's also because it's a lot easier for a rider to get going again after stopping on a downhill than on an uphill, especially if the trail is narrow, exposed, technical, and/or just really steep. Coasting downhill for a second until you get your feet on the pedals is braindead easy for anyone.

Pinkbike Poll: Wild or Mild - What Makes A Bike Look Great?
Simple solution: Wrap it. At my shop we have several companies that wrap cars or whatever that are happy to do the same for a bike frame. Cost is about the same as a one-color paint job, but you can pick pretty much any color/pattern combination you can think of for the same price.
