I've been mountain biking since I was a wee lad being drug out onto the trails by my parents in the mid 90's. Since then I've been going strong under my own accord. Started out in XC, got heavy into "freeride" during the early 2000's, started racing collegiate XC, Super D, and DH from 04-06, wound up in Northern AZ for school, now live in Southern Oregon and mostly ride trail/all-mountain. I even race the occasional enduro. Also an avid trail builder when time permits.

Pinkbike Poll: What's the Farthest You've Ever Ridden in 24 Hours?
24 hours of Old Pueblo in 08 I think. Did 100 miles myself as part of a duo team. Fucked me up pretty good!

Destination Showcase - Tucson, Arizona
I spent the better part of my 20s in Northern AZ (Flagstaff and Kingman), but went all over the state on riding trips. AZ has so much great riding and I always had great experiences riding Mt Lemon. It’s really a unique gorgeous spot. I live in Oregon now, but get sentimental about my adventures in the desert, and I definitely miss big skies and sunshine!

Canfield Bikes Unveils Longer, Slacker 2020 Nimble 9 Hardtail
I had an OG N9 in the super tasty Canfield Blue (which also glowed in the dark). Started as an SS when I lived in the desert and turned into a geared all mountain ripper when I moved to the PNW. Good buddy had one too. Ultimately, we both sold them around the same time because suspension, even a little bit, is just more fun when your trails are fast. But if you dig the hardtail thing, these are rad!

Local Flavours: The Complete Guide to Riding in Baker City, Oregon
Very cool to see Baker City get some attention. I live down in another not-very-PNW part of Oregon in the Rogue Valley. Great riding around here as well. I’ve spent a little time around Joseph and Baker City and if you’re looking for an uncrowded, more rugged recreation experience that area has you covered. Also, the towns in NE Oregon aren’t close to anything, so no worries about the riding areas blowing up and getting trashed ????

Video: Building Trails on the Oregon Coast
I live a couple hours from here. Great new trail system in a nice part of the Oregon coast. Definitely don’t have to worry about crowds.

Video: Moab's Captain Ahab Like You've Never Seen Before in 'Transcend'
This is one of the better edits I’ve seen in a while. Jibby trail riding gets me more stoked than anything. And anyone that’s ridden Ahab knows how damn impressive riding up it is. That fast plant was high consequence too. Looong way down if you botch that one.

Fox Factory Plans to Move HQ from California to Georgia [Updated]
@hellbelly: I was wondering if it'd be near there. I grew up riding Chicopee Woods every weekend with my Dad in the late 90's-early 00's. It's where I learned how MTB! Fun stuff!

Video: The Ultimate Vintage GT Bike Collector
My first real mtb was a purple GT Karakoram with a yellow RS Quadra 21R. I was a young kid at the time, probably 10. My parents got hard into mountain biking in this era, so I went along. Super fun time in mountain bikes.
