I've been mountain biking since I was a wee lad being drug out onto the trails by my parents in the mid 90's. Since then I've been going strong under my own accord. Started out in XC, got heavy into "freeride" during the early 2000's, started racing collegiate XC, Super D, and DH from 04-06, wound up in Northern AZ for school, now live in Southern Oregon and mostly ride trail/all-mountain. I even race the occasional enduro. Also an avid trail builder when time permits.

Video: Building Trails on the Oregon Coast
I live a couple hours from here. Great new trail system in a nice part of the Oregon coast. Definitely don’t have to worry about crowds.

Video: Moab's Captain Ahab Like You've Never Seen Before in 'Transcend'
This is one of the better edits I’ve seen in a while. Jibby trail riding gets me more stoked than anything. And anyone that’s ridden Ahab knows how damn impressive riding up it is. That fast plant was high consequence too. Looong way down if you botch that one.

Fox Factory Plans to Move HQ from California to Georgia [Updated]
@hellbelly: I was wondering if it'd be near there. I grew up riding Chicopee Woods every weekend with my Dad in the late 90's-early 00's. It's where I learned how MTB! Fun stuff!

Video: The Ultimate Vintage GT Bike Collector
My first real mtb was a purple GT Karakoram with a yellow RS Quadra 21R. I was a young kid at the time, probably 10. My parents got hard into mountain biking in this era, so I went along. Super fun time in mountain bikes.

I have no doubts this bike rips, but was Bend really the best place to showcase a long travel 29-er enduro bike???

Guerrilla Gravity Megatrail size Medium

$1800 USD
Very cool frame for sale. This 2014 Guerrilla Gravity Megatrail is a 150/160mm travel aggressive trail/AM/enduro machine that’s handmade in Denver, Colorado. USA, USA!!! It has all of the modern finishes you've come to expect of a great "enduro" bike and follows the long, low, slack mantra. This frame was brand new in mid-October 2014 and has seen fairly regular riding from a 175 lb, smooth, expert rider. It’s very clean with only the usual small blemishes one would expect from regular use. So why is this bike cool? Aside from the super rad, custom orange-metallic paint job there are some very unique features. Head to to get all the details on the bike and the company. Super cool group of guys making cool bikes. One of the main features that sets this bike apart are the four shock mount options (two front, two back) that change the bike’s geometry and spring rate, resulting in very different feel. There’s Trail mode and Gravity Mode. Trail mode feels like most aggressive trail bikes and gravity mode feels like you are riding a mini park/downhill bike. No joke. What’s more, changing between the different mounts requires a single allen sie and literally takes under a minute. Easily done trailside at the top of a descent. If you need a burly 6” bike, this is a great option. And guess what? It still climbs well, especially for what it’s capable of on the downs. The frame is being sold with: -2014 Cane Creek 40 series headset for tapered steer tubes (with brand new lower bearing). -2014 Cane Creek Double Barrel Air with Climb Switch -2014 Race Face Atlas crankset, 170mm, includes BB and RF NW 32t chainring -2014 MRP AMG guide All parts are in very good condition. Please note: -Yes it’s a medium, but keep in mind it has a 25” ETT. GG’s sizing is definitely not conventional. See their site for the full details, but recommended rider height is 5’9”-6’1”. I’m 6’1” and rode the bike with a 50mm stem very comfortably. -There is one dime-sized area of exposed metal one the right chainstay near the deraileur mount that is from the powder coat lifting off. This is the only spot on the frame where this has happened and it was treated with clearcoat per Guerrilla Gravity’s instructions and there has been no further lifting. This is located in a very inconspicuous part of the frame and is not easily noticeable. See photo. -If you pay asking price, seller with cover shipping, otherwise it’s negotiable. It will be professionally packaged and shipped by Unreal Cycles in Central Point, OR. -Asking price $2400. Keep in mind a new raw frame (no paint) and shock goes for $2470.
