Chromag Releases Mixed-Wheel Stylus Hardtail
Was a thing in bmx for a while, last I checked open plate gussets are the way to go. These blocked in type just move the stress to another area. As its going to have a suspension fork and not a rigid fork with a peg id say it's probably well over built.

Video: Does Wrapping Your Mountain Bike Frame Actually Make a Difference?
Can I wrap the bearing surface on the fork stantion, this is the only thing that really pisses me off when I somehow nick of scratch it on new bike. Always a new bike , never my old hack, fucking makes me want to cry a river. Upsidown forks would solve this , I'd just expect them to be fucked from day 1 with scratches

Slack Randoms: Raleigh Relaunches the Burner BMX, Parisian Bicycle Hearses, Rocket Lawn Chairs & More
@G-Sport: Is this the same G- Sport that made the 20mm axle bmx hubs in 90s? kept me rolling and grinding for years on those. Agree with the nostalgia BS those bikes were terrible, headsets literally exploded, bottom bracket cups cracked, one piece cranks were like noodles. Saddle guts slipped. think every single part of those bikes failed in some unique and horrible way

CeramicSpeed Launches Solid Lubrication Technology Bearings with Lifetime Warranty
Agreed brinelling is the main cause of failure after contamination on MTB pivots bearings. The bearing on the left looks like it has suffered brinelling or false brinelling to some extent. The bearing on the left has also suffered brinelling - but not mentioned.
