@G-Sport: Is this the same G- Sport that made the 20mm axle bmx hubs in 90s? kept me rolling and grinding for years on those. Agree with the nostalgia BS those bikes were terrible, headsets literally exploded, bottom bracket cups cracked, one piece cranks were like noodles. Saddle guts slipped. think every single part of those bikes failed in some unique and horrible way

Agreed brinelling is the main cause of failure after contamination on MTB pivots bearings. The bearing on the left looks like it has suffered brinelling or false brinelling to some extent. The bearing on the left has also suffered brinelling - but not mentioned.
