Pinkbike Poll: How Old Is Your Oldest Mountain Bike?
Still have my 91 Rocky Mountain Hammer pre Vbrakes deore above bar thumb shifters pedal baskets and onza bar ends. Used to ride it once a year for a lark but don’t feel safe doing it anymore. The narrow bars are hard to go back too and I’ve completely forgot how to “pre” brake. Still have Kool stops and a Ritchey Mega bite on the front. Don’t ever want to give it up because it’s the bike that started it all for me and the first major cash purchase of my life. 🍻

Warranties - Who's Doing Them Right, & What Could Be Improved?
That’s great to hear and I’m sincerely glad for you but I have had a completely different experience with them. You can see the pictures of my old bike in my profile. One year limited non transferable warranty at the time I dealt with them. Pretty sad for a Cro-moly bike.

Pinkbike Poll: What's a Deal-Breaker When Choosing a New Bike?
I think that price should have been included in the survey. Something like $7500 USD or above. That certainly is where I set my cap at. Whatever is priced above that falls in to the category of want vs. need. Guaranteed 3/5 seconds slower this year than last. You get to a point where it’s all just diminishing returns anyway. And if you’re not there yet don’t worry you will be one day 🍻
