EWS Round Six: Intro with Jared Graves in Whistler, Canada
@niccolope: Don't know if you've ever ridden a 29er or if you're just one of those awesome bias pinkbike noobs that feel obliged to hate them, but saying they don't flow through tech has got to be the most muppet comment... Larger Wheel means larger roll so there for plough over the top of tech as oppose to in and out of it. Anyone who's actually ridden a 29er could tell you they're no slower than smaller wheels. In most instances, actually far quckier. As for cornering, i think it's more that the rider has to give more input to get that roost going but if you're a good enough rider it's certainly do able.....

Bike Yoke Cable Conversion for Reverb Dropper Posts
@badbadleroybrown: I'm a mechanic mate, I'm aware not to do that with just about any brand. All I don't understand is why people are willing to pay $200 (NZD sorry haha) every time they want a reverb serviced when i can just pay $5 for a cable and do the job in the best part of 5 minutes? Admittedly when rockshox are working they're not bad, but i've just experienced too much shit with them to bother again.. Each to their own though

Bike Yoke Cable Conversion for Reverb Dropper Posts
@badbadleroybrown: haha interesting theory.. I've owned multiple cable droppers now- never replaced anything or done anything to them... still working like new. My old Reverb however- 4 warranty replacements in 5 months, not even rockshox themselves could bleed them. Feck that

Point of this is so you don't have to bleed the poxy things.. Read a reverb service manual and then tell me you don't want a cable reverb

Five Ten Sam Hill 3 Shoes - Review
Yea my vxi's shat themselves in 2 months with the soles tearing in half and falling off, then after battling with them for 8 months of warranties went back to clips, again the vxi clipless edition. Thought i'd be safe from the same issue seeing they were the clip version. But no, rubber yet again coming off even on the clips. Bloody crap quality. Problem is they've gotten rid of significant weight which is great but they are doing it at the price of durability. They've gotten rid of stitching on a far thicker sole which would more likely stand the test of time.. Problem is they've got Adidas on board i believe to produce there products, which makes things cheaper for them, but less cheerful for us

POC Tectal Helmet - Review
@MaxDeutsch: Sources? The fact that POC, the brand that helped develop it and introduced it to their products now no longer sells it in their new helmets is enough surely. I wouldn't go as far as saying avoid MIPS, nor would I be deterred from buying a helmet due to lack of it. For a helmet to be most effective, it just needs to fit like a glove. For many heads, like myself, MIPS can often make for a poorer fit in comparison to a non MIPS helmet. But hey, I'm sure not everyone's head is identical to mine
