5 Things We Learned at EWS Madeira 2019
@stiingya: yeah maybe that's what's needed. Ews won't even publish your sponsor info on the results unless you pay the team tax, so when we sponsored Ella you'd not have known it unless I paid a few thousand dollars for the privilege of having our name on a spreadsheet.... I had better ways to use that budget. While I like the EWS in many ways, it has some structural issues I think that try to keep it a level above the rest of the racing, but sometimes just mean it allienates the people that support the grass roots of our sport.

Guerrilla Gravity's Less Expensive, US-Made Carbon Frame
@yupstate: I don't of course, but I would be willing to wager the per unit cost is higher than a big co bike. Ben

@powderturns: depends on the factory... I would say that most are well south of that mark, even in CAD.

Pinkbike Awards: Component of the Year Nominees
@dklemm: Ive got it on an X01 cassette (for the mentioned Hope reason). I like it, seems well designed and works. Things I notice: Shifting. I think X01 is slightly lighter in action, and I prefer the ergonomics of the X01 lever. Both work well though, no complaints on the shift, just the position of the paddles seems a bit odd having come from X01. Mech. Seems very well made, and very shiny :) I think its the strong point for the system iSpec EV - An improvement on the previous iSpecs with in theory more movement, but it seems like they added the extra angle and L/R adjustments at the end of the range where you don't need it, but its still possible to get a nice set up. Overall I think its a nice alternative to X01/XX1 and much cheaper. The shifting is similar to XT in 11 speed, with that hesitant start to the lever movement, but its solid enough and functions well on the trail.

The low BB makes for a big stack. We find that the longer the reach the wider and higher you want the front, so a low BB delivers that feel without being perched up high.

@MancAndy: There's no demo calendar set up for next year as yet, but you can demo from Swinley or Hamsterley anytime.
