the stems never clamped the steerer properly. I remember once I hit a big G out, my arms moved the bars 90 degrees, I rode the next section of trail with my bars totally wrong lol

Luke Meier-Smith & Kate Hastings Take the 2026 Oceania DH Continental Champs Titles

this is "kind of" a nothing race really, it wasn't for the national title. You get some UCI points if you wanted to do some WC's but it's just not worth the injury risk so close to the start of the season. I'm actually surprised LMS did this race but he is also in fine form so he's keeping the flame alive coming into the season.
