Video: Climbing, Descending & Pumping Challenges at the 2026 Trail Bike Field Test
It looks weird that Trek is among the slowest bikes on descent, but it is amoung fastest on pump track, considering that it has longer travel. I was expecting oposite results. Good video though.

Interview: Developing the 2026 Fuel With Trek's Dylan Howes & Dave Knauf
I have Fuel ex gen 5, and IMO it is decent bike. I know that I lot of people find it boring, but for me is good. Have it now for 5 years, made some suspension chamges, fox36 instead of 34 and fox float x on the back. Did a lot of things on it, jumps, marathons, etc. Still on same frame bearings. With this latest model, Trek really made awesome bike in terms of geo, specs and looks. Even price is not that high, considering specs.

Ask Pinkbike: Upgrade or Flip, Over-Forking, Bearing Fitment Woes, & More
I have Trek Fuel Ex 8, gen 5. I put on it 150mm Fox 36 and Fox Float X on the rear, it is realy transformed the bike into more capable machine. Regarding to that guys queation, honestly I would not go more than 160mm up front on Fuel ex, it would change geo just too much and also put aditional stress to frame. Also he should check Fox 36 which is lighter fork but also decently stiff for enduro riding, ofcourse in 150-160 travel range.

BTW next time when you visiting Serbia you should go to Belgrade and check Koshutnjak - local forest, and also Frushka gora - place near by Novi Sad. You can find some nice trails there.
