Pinkbike Poll: How Old Is Your Oldest Mountain Bike?
I have a 2017 Transition scout that i love. The pike fork still performs great. the Gx drive train functions no worse than todays. The bike is lighter and in all honesty has a bit more reasonable geometry than its modern comparable. i.e. it has a >64 degree HTA.
IMO, bikes from around 2015 and on have aged well. They're often 27.5 wheels and are longer and slacker than their predecessors, whereas today's bikes are MUCH longer, heavier, and slacker. Are today's bikes more capable? Depends how you look at it, I suppose. Today's enduro bikes can be ridden as a downhill bike for a majority of users. On the other hand, I find my 2023 Transition Patrol quite challenging to use for a long multi-hour ride.

Opinion: Mixed-Wheel Bikes Are Like A Swiss Army Knife
I really think it's about time they totally change the direction of the industry and come out with a 28.25 " incher

Video: Are Sedona Trails Really That Dangerous?
IMO they aren't as dangerous as North Shore. Sedona is very technical and there are some jagged rocks but it's not all that steep because you're all along the mesas. Yes, there are some steep and wild sections but overall I think it's less demanding and less scary than the huge rock rolls and drops that are common on the North Shore. That being said... just don't do the White Line in Sedona.

Yeti Releases SB120 Lunch Ride
I found the "lunch ride" concept quite insulting and tacky, honestly. They already have a super premium price tag yet here they are humblebragging about how the staff spec's their bikes better than what you can buy off the shelf. Like, get frigged. Here at Yeti, we make expensive bikes for you that aren't good enough for us.

Review: Chromag Darco - A Very Big Little Bike
This sounds like a very useless bike to even exist. Cromag's lucky they created this thing.... otherwise reviews would be scathing.
