The going off the track really isn't relevant here where as in DH it's pretty obvious why you are required to so strictly stay on the track. If there is a penalty it should be about the collision not about the following off track. The overtaking rider holds their line and is abreast so saying it's a chop off isn't really accurate. It's a clean racing overtake. Kinda poor replays wish they showed it whole in slowmo replay.

The inside rider got into the gap but it's a muddy corner with poor grip. It's not really a shortcut she just went off the course. Going off the track isn't really relevant to the situation so that shouldn't be a penalty but the collision itself. But looking at it the overtaking rider was fully abreast and didn't steer into the other rider so there isn't much to give a penalty for. You are allowed to overtake. The outside rider turned into the overtake causing the collision. You both have to hold your racing lines when you are next to each other. If that happened here it would've forced the outside wide. That is generally why the inside is held in racing. I just don't see what there would to punish here as you are allowed to overtake. Well looking at it there is overlap between the bars so it's not really clean that they both would've had a full bars length. Maybe it should be a penalty or a DQ for that contact. The outside rider could've probably stayed upright but they just weren't ready for contact so they leaned inside to corner instead of balancing straight.

Seems fine but really I'm not sure if more torsional stiffness is better? Is it just going to make it harsher without really adding anything? Been a good stem for maybe 10 years now. I think I have 3 in different lengths so not buying more but liked it and new one seems like a slight update.

@KribeH: Integrated as in headset or bar integrated. Which having owned one are horrible. These have normal frame integration.

Mainly interested in frame sets as I've accumulated enough gear that I don't want to replace the same things on a new bike. And with so many discounts as new gens are rolled out it's cheaper to build than to buy, which normally is not the case. Usually has been 20% more for buying it yourself for factory spec. But now as you can get many things half price it's 20% cheaper to build. And there's a lot of value in getting what you want or have gotten used to. It's not so easy to spend 7k on the lowest spec bike but 3k for a frame set is very good when you don't have to buy many parts for it.

The rolling resistance is really only a problem on asphalt and on gravel it's difficult to say if it matters at all. But for normal bikes there might be a big enough downside from the bigger contact patch that it's not worth it. For ebikes it's a no brainer.

@shaun-ridefast-michael: It's about the radial so doesn't really matter which tyre. Radial just absorbs bumps much better removes that chatter and has more grip climbing. I wouldn't say Albert has more grip than Maxxis Assegai front while turning but should really be compared to Magic Mary. Just wasn't available when I got it so had to go with Albert front.
