Santa Cruz Highball in XL

$2200 GBP
Bought new in June last year this is a Santa Cruz Highball in the S spec. I have added a KS Lev 100mm dropper post, a 180mm front disc and a Raceface Next 20mm riser bar. Beyond that it is completely standard and is as per the Santa Cruz website. It was bought with the intention of getting some winter miles in to keep my fitness up but that simply didn’t happen so the bike has seen very little use and is immaculate. I also have the carbon seatpost that came with the bike but it is currently being used on a turbo trainer (the reason why I haven’t ridden the highball!) so it may have a few marks where it has been clamped. I have taken a number of pictures showing the overall condition of the bike and I can send a link to a google folder. Similarly if you have any questions let me know. Price wise I am looking for £2,200 although I am open to sensible offers, particularly for local collection. The bike is based in the Surrey Hills (GU5) although I am happy to post if the buyer covers shipping.

Santa Cruz Tallboy S+ in XXL in Yellow

$2100 GBP
Bought new in September 2017 from a local Santa Cruz dealer so just one owner. It is the S spec bike but with a few changes from the standard spec, namely Hope Pro 4 hubs laced to WTB i40 rims with DT Swiss Competition spokes, an 50mm Easton Haven Stem with 35mm clamp and a Renthal Fatbar carbon, cut down to 780mm. The rear tyre is brand new and the front has only had a handful of rides. I also have the standard flat bar which I can include if required. The saddle height is set for me at 6ft 3 so you can see there is plenty of stand over on the XXL and the reach is 505mm. The bike is generally in very good condition, plenty of life left in the drivetrain as I usually only ride once a week and run a couple of bikes. In particular I picked up a new singlespeed FS frame at the end of last year so the Tallboy has only done one winter of riding. The pivot bearings are smooth and there is no significant damage to the frame or any part of the bike. The negatives are picked up in the photos, there is a small scuff to the paintwork on the seat tube where I had a bottle holder too low down in the frame and the bottle has rubbed the frame. There is a couple of small chips to the paint on the underside of the chainstay where the chain has clipped it, there is some rub to the paint on the fork from a mudhugger and there is sign of tyre rub on the inside of the chainstay. It has just marked the paint, hasn’t rubbed through it. Lastly, the Reverb has a little bit of sag (5mm) which is shown in a photo with the zip tie noting the movement. It has been like this for a while and hasn’t bothered me so I have not done anything about it. I have uploaded a couple of photos but have taken more which i can supply via a link to google photo. Also happy to take more for specific areas of the bike where required.. Note, the bike will ship with the standard SRAM Level brakes and Formula rotors (180 front, 160 rear). I would sell the Hope E4s that are on the bike but it will be £150 on top of agreed price. The bike is based in the Surrey Hills. I would prefer to meet up so you can check the bike over but also happy to post in the UK, although I will need to source a box first. Any questions please ask, open to offers but nothing daft.

@PHILXX1975: I suspect the 'sending out untested bikes' comment that i assume you are referring to further up the page meant testing the geometry through several iterations of the frame before selling them rather than fatigue testing which you've interpreted it as.

Just wish they could sort the uplift so you don't have to book months in advance for a weekend slot. Surely Whistler must have an old chairlift going cheap....

What happened to Claudio in Croatia? I assume the knock he took was far bigger than was made of it at the time hence why the track preview was canned but as far as I can see bar the odd IG update it has been radio silence. Hope he's all good.

@mattwragg: I'm not fat but I am 100kg! Still, sounds like there is plenty of life for your average ride though if you're not running on turbo all the time. Thanks
