Orange 224

$2400 USD
!!!!!!!!!Current suspension is fox 40 Kashima coil and fox 5.0 rear coil shock w new 2016 fox light weight springs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Look over all photos for parts build bike is currenttly all freshly powder coated white Selling my favorite dh bike that still has up to date geometry due to Orange being ahead of the industry for years. This is a large frame but if u compare the size to today's bikes it's more like a medium/large and will suit a rider best between 5'6-5'10. Frame was only raced 2 or 3 times at cat 2 level by a 145lb racer n other then that ridden by myself 230lb rider less then 30 days mellow dh no big hucks or crashes. The frames in excellent condition new powder coat n I have extra derailed hangers, single pivot bushings, back up shock bolts n shock position hardware to go with it. This is a VERY FAST bike!! Don't be fooled buy its age n design it rails corners like a demo 8, has very progressive suspension design, steep seat tube angle which is perfect for pedaling n super slack head angle. This bike chews up UCI European World Cup tracks and easily tame wimpy US tracks n bike parks. It currently weighs 37-38 pounds with heavy parts! If u go air shocks n tubeless tires these bikes drop easily to 33-35lbs. U can also run 27.5 wheel in the Fox 40 and steepen the headtube angle to 62 degrees like I have done to skip over the holes on rougher tracks. The adjustable headtube, bottom bracket height, and wheelbase make this bike work at any race or trails u choose to ride. Like having 3 bikes n 1. If your a beginner in DH or freeride this is a confidence boosting stable bicycle without breaking your bank$ this is your bike! If your a ripping rider that likes to save money enjoys the playfulness of 26 wheels then this is your bike! Here's the current geometry numbers achieved with 26in wheels n offset shock bushings. I have owned 2 of these bikes, this was a back up for racing so not ridden much!!!! Enjoy! Adjustable geometry!! Huge benefit to slay all terrain!!! Compare to 2017 bikes yourself! The magic is in the numbers! Size 17 small/medium Headtube angle 62-63 adjustable degrees Wheelbase 1228mm Effective top tube 590mm-615mm can be achieved with layback post n long stem Reach 430-440 Seat tube angle 70-72 degrees Chain stay 445 Stand over height 785mm- 812mm Bottom bracket height 342mm-352mm ((((((stock specs n geometry)))))) Bike comes with everything but NO BRAKES N ROTORS but i will throw in a extra set of new tires. This bike lasted me 5 years and could easily last another 5 years these bikes are over built to last from England n tough! $2400 thats $480 a year to have a blast a lot cheaper then new bike every season at $4-8000 dollars! N u can still win races on this bike easily!
