Jul 27, 2026Transition (Super) Sentinel, Silver, Large Frameset
$1700 USDThis is what I call my Transition Super Sentinel. The rear travel has been increased to 160, and comes with a 170mm Fox 38 Performance Elite(not the factory 38). Looking to sell this with Shock, Fork, seatpost and Headset. I'm open to offers to include Bar, Cranks/BB, Brakes, Drivetrain, and other parts. For the right offer, I would consider selling it whole. But I'd like to keep as much as I need for my next build. Seatpost is a 200mm 30.9 Fox Transfer. Its been correctly shimmed to fit the 31.6 seat tube size. The headset is a Premium Wolf Tooth headset, anodized Red. The rear shock is also a performance Elite Float X. Will service the suspension before it goes away to its new home.
I am negotiable on price, especially if your looking to buy more of the parts with it. This bike absolutely rips, and I've ridden it hard, as evident by the scratches, scuffs, and other signs of wear on it. Can remove the ride wrap before it goes as well to make it a bit prettier. However, despite the wear to the paint, the frame itself is in excellent working condition. Its got a pretty decently fresh set of bearings in the pivots, and has been mechanic owned its whole life. I am only the second owner of it, and have been unbelievably surprised with how well it rides. I've been racing it for the last 4 years, and it's been an amazing ride the whole time. This sort of bike is perfect for the person who doesn't care how fast they make it up the hill, but rather, how fast they can smash their way down.
If you feel like I'm asking too much, shoot me a message and make me a reasonable offer. Hope to see this one go to a great home!

Copper Harbor Expands Its Most Entertaining Endurance Race to Include the Kids
So cool to see an incredible spot get some light on the pink bike home page. The Midwest as a whole is really lacking the spot light, even though we have some truly incredible trails here.
Can we get some trails fest action this year on here? Or the LSGS?

Formula Cura 4 Brake Review: They're Light, But Not the Most Powerful
I have a set of these. Swapped for dominions, and never went back. Putting them on a spare bike now, and I'm just not happy with the feel of them. Definitely wouldn't buy again. The lever upgrade being like $80 a side is also insane.

Details For the Second Annual Midwest Mountain Bike Fest Announced
The Midwest riding scene is really not shown as well as it should be here on Pinkbike. Can we get some coverage or a race recap for Downhill Midwest at spirit this year? There's some real awesome trails being built here!

Pinkbike Poll: The 2025 MTB Damage Inventory
Late to the party, but the only real damage this year was snapping a set of one-up pedal spindles.

Boutique Brake Manufacturer Radic Performance Moves to Christchurch, Teases XC Offering
I work at a bike shop in the Midwest, I got to see this brakes firsthand, and bleed them for the very first time. I am very impressed with how incredibly well built they are.
Our customer had both sets of brakes leak, ruining the pads and rotors. HOWEVER, the customer service was fantastic, and they not only sent him a caliper rebuild kit, but new rotors, and PADS!
Radic really is a super rad brand, and I love what they do. Really cool to see a new Zealand boutique brand show up here in Wisconsin.
