Bike Shop Employee Seriously Injured Attempting to Stop Thieves
Karma's a bitch, so here's to the day the thieves find out one has rectal cancer while the other finds out he has penile cancer..... and no, that isn't a coincidence.

Review: Niner's New RIP 9 RDO 29
I like Niner and wish them well.... but my '16 aluminum RIP 9 creaked worse than a bed in a motel 6. That traumatized me all the way to my '19 Chameleon.

Update: What's Going On With Shimano's New XTR Group?
@mnorris122: I guess I, a lot of my riding buddies, as well as many other riders littered across the forums who are riding the latest versions missed that memo.

Update: What's Going On With Shimano's New XTR Group?
Hey Shimano..... how about you fix your patented SVBP (Shimano Variable Bite Point) of all of your brakes first, then when you've finally fixed that, then you can have your engineers develop something new that will never be seen.

First Look: Santa Cruz's Chameleon Hardtail Goes Carbon
@nrb251: Best fork I've ever ridden. I've had Pike, Yari, and Fox 34 and the Sapphire 34 is on another level. The coil sprung adjustable negative chamber (called OTT) has to be felt to be believed. I'm 220lbs all geared up and just go out and mountain bike ride in the SoCal high desert... think aggressive "trail" I guess? (man I hate these stupid labels) and the suppleness and mid stroke support is simply on another level. Every click of the damping circuits, as well as every turn of the OTT, can be felt. It took me a little longer to get it dialed in compared to the simpler forks I've had, but man, it was so worth it. No harsh bottoming, and no chamber full of tokens to achieve it.... as a matter of fact I don't have a single volume spacer in the fork (it ships with 0 installed, but comes with several in a bag, as well as a cool bolt on shorty fender). I'm lucky enough to live within an hour drive of DVO's headquarters in SoCal, and I bought it directly from them.... Such a cool vibe walking into their shop.... every dude there is a rider and way cool. Knowing what I know, I can't imaging going back to a RS or Fox product.
