Racing Rumours: Leaked Document Suggests Last Chance Qualifying, Less Elite Teams, & More World Cup Reforms for 2025

Doesn’t anyone else find it deeply disturbing that a media company is dictating to the governing body how the elite end of the sport be structured? Suspension travel aside (as others have said, that’s just a simplified guide for execs that have no idea about MTB), having Warners Bros decide how many teams there are - or what our podiums look like - seems outside the scope of sponsorship. Where do privateers and small teams sit in this? Would Candice Lill (privateer, 2nd at Les Gets) or Team 31 (Jenny Rissveds and co) be forced to ride a lower continental cup because they don’t factor in to the 20 XC teams?

Bike Check: Loana Lecomte's Winning Massi Aire SL

When watching Loana race I’ve noticed how much more upright she is whilst climbing than the riders, which I attribute to not having such a slammed cockpit. This seems to help with breathing (compared to other riders that are slumped over), and would also help with the descents.

Race Recap: RockShox Enduro Challenge - Mt Buller

I agree - IMHO that's the big story of the weekend - Peta won the Road Nationals a few weeks ago, was racing the National XCO rounds in WA last weekend and killing it in enduro this weekend!

Awesome Article! Incidentally, those forks are pre-production Manitou 3s. See the blue anodised adjusters above the fork crown? Manitou 2s had their adjusters at the bottom of the fork leg. Pretty sure the black teflon coating came in on the Manitou 3s as well.
