Video: The Guinea Pig Process with Cam McCaul and Pro Skier Sage Cattabriga Alosa
Sage just has a true *send it* approach to mtb as you can see here. If you watch his ski videos it will make more sense.

Winner Announced: Travel Tuesday - Enter to Win a Trip to Brevard, North Carolina
@bradwalton: i think theres about 50 other trails in the area that fit your certain niche of riding jank old hiking trails. This attitude is what keeps pisgah tame believe it or not - your not gonna let the sport progress....why? scared to hit the avery jump? IF you want raw old school straight down the ridge style trails there is still PLENTY of that around here. What shrimper has done with black mt. is the only thing with that type of flow in the area...heck it even lasts longer than 5 minutes!

Trek Finds Carbon Frames Produce Nearly 3 Times the CO2 of Alloy in its First Sustainability Report
Great article - great research by trek - I think a note to add on the ebikes, most e MTBs are used by people who hae no intention of using them to commute to the trails, they always go on a traditional bike rack and are driven to the trail. The research here is def an eye opener - eMTBs are for the wealthy hobbyist - not the commuter or eco forward consumer.

Interview: Steve Vanderhoek - "It Actually Has to be Really, Really, Really Big in Order to Translate on the Camera"
man....who cares what it looks like on camera....love steves videos but the whole youtuber culture in mtb is kinda ruining shit. It shouldnt be about what it looks like on your upload.

@blowmyfuse: ehhh idk dude lots of people around here rock kitsbow - I do believe you have a point about the tax incentives and wages they pay their employees (lets face it here in NC poverty wages are totally normal) but the commenter at the top hit it on the nose - we live in a totally ruined economy - if you want high end hand made clothing to go on your mtb rides you prolly need to realize that these things will never be "affordable" again. I work at a bike shop and 50% of my day is trying to help novice riders understand that the price of bikes is just as much of the "new normal" as everything else.
