Jesse Melamed Races The New RMU Nighttrain to 2nd Place in Whistler
@nateb: I 100% thought maxxis named the assegai and dissector like that for the very punny reason of calling the combo the assdissector, I've just ran with it

and why Butchers over all the available options? asking as a long-time AssMinion/AssEliminator person setting up their latest build with a Butcher/Eliminator combo so really looking for validation more than anything

@totaltoads: not sure how you got there from "why do you want to make your trails easier?" which was a valid follow up question?
having a jibby riding style/preference != making things artificially difficult

Two Vermont Builders Handed $35,000 Fine for Unauthorized State Forest Trails
@FrankS29: Fair points, thanks Frank and Chuck. Drilling and constructing large features definitely sets it apart from moving a couple logs out of the way and rutting in some corners.
My only reference locally is a system that was entirely pirate trails in a moto zone, with very unclear or inconsistently enforced land management policies. Legend has it the dude went to jail a few times but kept going back, and now we have some of the best technical riding you could find in the state to thank for it.
Local government has recently stepped in to build legit trails following a logging operation, which they wouldn't have done if there wasn't the level of recreational interest garnered by people getting to ride these incredible "illegal" trails.
Two sides to everything I suppose but there's definitely a chicken or the egg aspect to it
