One weekend, one festival, two amazing FMB World Tour events. On Sunday, May 19th Red Bull Berg Line finalists will ride one of the best slopestyle courses ever built. It’s also the final chance for riders to make it into the top 12 of the FMB World Tour 52 Week Seeding List to qualify for X Games Munich. If you can’t be on-site in Winterberg, then tune in LIVE for the webcast here on Pinkbike.
The iXS Dirtmasters Festival will be packed full of attractions – all leading to the big finale, Red Bull Berg Line. The mountain bike action will kick off with the Bronze event, SKS Slopestyle on Saturday May 18th. The winner of the SKS Slopestyle will be awarded the last wildcard to start with the pros at the Gold event, Red Bull Berg Line on Sunday May 19th. The first wildcard was awarded to Anton Thelander at Vienna Air King and the second to Mike Montgomery at the Silver event, Ranchstyle in North America last weekend.
It’s also make-or-break time at Red Bull Berg Line for riders who want to climb into the top 12 of the 52 Week Seeding List and qualify for the X Games Munich Mountain Bike Slopestyle event in June.
Aside from the action there is plenty to look forward to, on Saturday there will be a signing session at the FMB World Tour booth from 1:30pm – 2:00pm. Martin Soderstrom, Darren Berrecloth and Amir Kabbani will be there to sign posters and the first 50 visitors will also receive a free, signed CamelBak bottle.
Current FMB World Tour ranking: 1st Sam Pilgrim (GBR), 2nd Tomas Zejda (CZE), 3rd Brett Rheeder (CAN)
Remember, if you can’t be on-site this weekend, you can still tune in to Pinkbike for the LIVE webcast from 6:45pm (CEST) // 9:45am (PST) on Sunday May 19th.
Have you been on Mars or something? It's been discussed on every FMB news feat for the last 2 months and it's even talked about directly below.... Maybe you ought to learn to read?
Also watch out for Mike Montgomery this year. He is coming off a big weekend at Ranch Style and has the tricks to make a run at the podium and the FMB rankings. GO MIKE!
He just said on facebook "Berg Line! that's what's up this weekend! last year was a blast, so hopefully you are there again" so i'm guessing he's ridding
Fair enough he doesnt compete if he doesnt want too. Last year he botched up his two biggest events, maybe he was too stressed with all his events? After all he doesnt have to ride, hes undisputedly one of the best, if not the best rider
Should be a sick event! How i think things will turn out: 1st- Sam Pilgrim 2nd- Martin Soderstrom 3rd- Brett Rheeder or at least i hope this is how it turns out!
i think in this interview all is said.
1st- Sam Pilgrim
2nd- Martin Soderstrom
3rd- Brett Rheeder
or at least i hope this is how it turns out!
Let's go Kelly Mc Gazza !
