[Updated] How to Watch the 2019 Mountain Bike World Champs
@freeridejerk888: Snowshoe is open Labor Day. This is an unfortunate bit of bad marketing on Snowshoe’s part. After Labor Day they’ve always went to fall hours- Both sides open Friday through Sunday. This year with the World Cup they have to shutdown for the weekend of the World Cup. So it appears there closed much longer. It’s not explained. If you have a trail bike you should definitely still come. Enjoy the off the map free ride trails or go and Shuttle Tea Creek after watching the WC.

Whistler's Peak to Creek Backcountry Tours
There are three ways to ride the trails, climb up (free), TOTW pass and do self guided (price of TOTW pass), and guided (90 per person). I've done it by buying a TOTW pass without a bike park pass and it was around 35 bucks. In my opinion it's WELL worth 35 if you are on an all mountain bike (Kyber to BC). If you are going to RDS I would push up from No Joke/Freight Train and save the cash. In my opinion Kush and Kasmir a step up in skill level from TOTW. I can see some people getting in over there heads. Again, my opinion, trails outside the park are more challenging than inside the park. i think it's smart to have a guide do a test run with the tourists. But will they really convince or say you can't pay to be guided when in truth you can do it for free?
