Autumnal Riding in France - Down to Earth - Video
The terrain and the video are great, minus the music! These red soils are so exciting...

Pinkbike Poll: Does Bike Weight Matter?
This poll is a bit "light" as the weight question is a twisted question, because you talk about total weight, meaning static global weight, but you don't talk about the most important overall: the masses in movement. This is where weight counts the most and makes sense. A 10 kg bike with shitty wheels rides bad, whereas a 15kg bike with well-balanced wheels including good hubs, right spoke tension and good tires at the right pressure can be really awesome. I've experienced that so many times. Weight problems mainly appears when you have to carry or push your bike on steep ascents.

Hardcore Hardtails, Ultralight Chainguides, Gearbox Goodness, and More - Tech Briefing, November 2017
Well, the titatium Kingdom Vendetta is a dream bike, but the indicated price is unfortunately wrong. "Only" the frame doesn't cost 999 but 1799€. My hard-on was short :-(

Wild Urban Downhill Racing in Taxco, Mexico - Video
@vinay: I use ION elbow pads for years and they are pretty confortable, not forgettable but honest. I don't wear them when climbing and put them on when things go down. They are breathable, solid enough even if I had to use my needle to repear them lastly, and their anti bacterian material does the job concerning bad smells.... and they saved my elbows so many times. I had 661 pads and they really suck. Once again: it's a matter of finding the right product...

Ridden and Rated: 7 Long-Travel 29ers
I used to love 29" wheels... on a steel hardtail bomb: a Transition TransAm... a big-wheeled BMX somehow... until I mounted a pair of 27,5" wheels on it, and suddenly it became something else... so much something else that I bought a Stanton Switchback framekit, and my conclusion is: 27,5" wheels give the best compromise between fun and capability, and full suspension bikes suck :)
