5 Surprisingly Nice Catalogue Frames - Taipei Cycle Show 2018
" to always surpass the ISO safety standards for bicycles by 20%" - this still is not something I would be proud of. Looking into ISO bike standards myself as an engineer - they are more like a lower limits to make a bike that is safely rideable. They certainly are NOT sufficient standards for a mountain bike for hard ripping. Companies have their own standards for something like this. At least twice or more of what ISO standards say would be nice - at least as I recall them and without any calculations.

An Air-Pressurized Frame For Adventure Bikes? - Eurobike 2018
No one yet? Allright - I think I could use this "USD charging port top cap". Seems like a great idea :D I just wonder how fast would it charge my wallet :D

Yep, Here's Your 13-Speed Drivetrain - Eurobike 2018
Wow, so pointless. Just imagine how much of time, effort and money they waisted on a group that 99% of riders won't ever even see...

First Look: Shimano's New XTR is More Than Just 12-Speed
@redsled137: Yeah, like the new has so much in common with previous designs... It's completely different solution so how can you expect anything from it based on older ones?

First Look: Shimano's New XTR is More Than Just 12-Speed
You can hate the new standards but the new freehub mechanism is simply brilliant. Simple, silent and seems reliable. I don't think there ever was a solution better than this.

Cotic Launches SolarisMAX Steel 29er Hardtail
@garneau565: I second this second :D with a hardtail background, now riding fully for a few years I miss riding hardtail. Just wish it had better/more aggressive geometry, 29 (instead of 26) inch wheels and more solid build. I've tested some modern XC race machines and even they were a blast. Add the things I mentioned before and you have Kona Honzo :D. Cotic seems similar - just different frame material but the philosophy behind them is similar as well. It really is way more fun to ride a proper hardtail on many trails than a full suspension bike.

Ask Pinkbike: Unwanted Unclipping, Badly Bled Brakes, & Toolbox Tips
@WAKIdesigns: Shimano offers two types of mtb cleats - sm-sh51 and sm-sh56. 51 releases only sideways and 56 is multidirectional. When I got some new shimano pedals I had the same problem of accidental release when pulling and I hadn't got this problem with the previous shimano pedals. Only then I realised that the older came with sh51 (side only) and the new had the sh56 (multirelease).

Large sizes look better on 29 wheels indeed. Beauty of every single thing comes from the right proportions ;)
