Commenting on World Cup DH Commentary, Specialized's New Demo, & The DH Bar End Trend
@Mangosuave: 100% agree. Rick may not be the best but at least he tries. When paired with someone even just a bit enthusiastic about the sport (Gwin, Carlson) they make a good combo. But Marc makes me want to stop the broadcast... Even snooker commentary has more life in it xD

WBD Sports Announces Elite Women Will Race Last at the Leogang World Cup in Historic First for Downhill
Interesting idea. For me personally, I like watching womens race. And they look impressively fast. But then, watching mens race after, you have a nice contrast and you can see even clearer how ridiculous their speed is. So with no offence to women, I like the current order for this exact reason.

Is it just me or Gracey Hemstreet's Norco looks a bit weird? Like the reach is very short and stack soo high

Pinbike Poll: Are You Running the Bar & Stem That Originally Came on Your Bike?
The article could use a few more options in polls or separate polls. For me, after trying multiple positions od stock stem height and handlebar rotation on my Spectral i decided to switch to 10mm longer stem with 10mm rise (Funn Equalizer) and a bit higher rise bars as well. The XL frame was not tall enough for me (193cm) with only 20mm stem spacers, so this setup fits me a lot better. I can always take out the spacers from under the stem if it's too high, and previously i was maxed out on them which also shortened the reach too much.

I'm done with Shimano brake wandering bite point
Can't believe I am the first one to comment, but this seems like a genuine fix, thank you :)
On my previous bike I had Shimano brakes where I regularly used WD-40 on the lever mech after washing - no wandering bite point issues.
On the current bike I omitted the WD-40 treatment (don't really know why) and after a bit of time the wandering bite point appeared. It was especially apparent when bike was dirty and then washed, but levers were not lubed, so I assume the mech had some leftover dirt and was unlubed/dry. Even rebled the brakes with Maxima oil cause it was supposed to work better - made no difference.
Finally after reading this post I sprayed some light oil (this time Brunox suspension spray) and the issue went away. And this was the only difference ride to ride so I'm pretty sure this is it :)

Wasn't this the exact same place where Schurter also fell during the race?

Round 2 Voting Closed: 2020 Pinkbike Photo of the Year Contest
I just don't get what happened in Match Up 16... One of the most creative photos in last few years of the contest loses by a big margin to one of the most generic photos. And I'm saying this being a great fan of Sterling's work over the previous years.

Throwback Thursday: Jared Graves' World Champs Medal on an Enduro Bike
Of course we don't need "all what being churned out by the industry". But it's not like everything new they bring to the market is to "make money", "nothing new", "marketing bullshit" etc. Products constantly develop and become better and better. The fact we don't really need them doesn't mean they don't work better and aren't nicer to use.
