Upside Rack - Press Release
" It’s the only rack that fits your road bike, mountain bike, fat bike, kids bikes or commuter without adapters, wheel removal or frame contact" Nope, Yakima High Roller does that too.

Muc-Off Launch Athlete Protection Range
http://www.lipodrift.com/PDF/Final_Report_BES-T-2012.pdf This is the science behind it. Differences not significant, even with some mathematical modelling (but then 'near significant'). I think your olfactory receptors are functioning well.

Muc-Off Launch Athlete Protection Range
Oh my, I was in a grumpy mood when I wrote this this morning! However I have done some digging based on the citation of a scientific study on the MucOff website (https://muc-off.com/fitness/278-recovery-balm.html?ref_cat=30) and found a PDF of the very small research study that the claims are based on (http://www.lipodrift.com/PDF/Final_Report_BES-T-2012.pdf). "The first study with a single treatment of BES-T AMINO POWER demonstrated that maximum force was not affected. In a test on repetition maximum at sub maximal force (80%, resistance against exhaustion), analyzing of the raw data as well adjusted raw data also demonstrated no statistical significant differences on this parameter. However and for us unexpected using simulation models according to Mayhew and Wathan they resulted a strong, nearly significant tendency, that the resistance against exhaustion is increased after BES-T treatments. This result is unexpected." These simulation models, that produced only a NEAR significant result, are cautioned in the scientists' report: "Because it is just the usage of mathematic models the results of these simulations can only be taken to provide hinds for potential effects but are not real data." "However these results should not be over interpreted. To get clear data additional experiment with a modified experimental setup are necessary." If there were a real effect, you'd expect to see it with the more standard statistical analysis, hence these claims are unfounded. Oh, the power of online media! Press releases/adverts need to stand up to more scrutiny than they would in the print media!

Muc-Off Launch Athlete Protection Range
Rubbing amino acids on your skin? Complete snake oil. The pseudo-scientific way in which this was written has given me a new (more negative) view on MucOff as a company. Stick to cleaning bikes please, leave out the unfounded claims and pseudoscientific BS, or support them with data from a properly conducted scientific trial using these products (link please).

Short Yoga Routine To Help With Lower Back Pain in Bikers
Totally agree, I'm disappointed by some comments on here and other articles about female racers etc. A lot more respect needed. The best we can probably do is neg prop them. Would like to think they might be embarrassed that Abi has clearly read all the comments, but I doubt it. Abi, thanks for the videos, I'm keen to try them out to increase my mobility and have suffered lower back pain from biking in the past.

Pinkbike Poll: Trail Sabotage?
Great topic, Pinkbike. We've had trouble on our local trails, thankfully it is usually 'just' logs or rocks placed on the trail but there has been one sharpened spear I've heard of in the area. This article has highlighted what a common shared problem it is all over the world. The news coverage of incidents must really help make potential saboteurs think twice / realise how serious their actions could be, so as a community we should not be turning a blind eye to this.
