Hayes Dominion A4 Brake Review: Ultra-Light Lever Action and Plenty of Power
I remember I got these when they first came out and people were skeptical of them in 2018, They were about 200$ at the time, since then theyve survived 3 frames and way more crashes than they should and are so reliable.

Panhandle Bike Ranch Permit Revoked 10 Days Before Opening
Dear Representative [Last Name],
My name is [Your Name], and while I am not a resident of Bonner County, I am an avid mountain biker who travels to experience new trail systems across the country. I am writing to express my support for opening the Panhandle Bike Ranch, and to offer an outside perspective on the concerns raised by local residents—particularly regarding dust from increased traffic.
I understand that dust generated by vehicles on unpaved roads is a significant concern for the Five Lakes Estates community and others nearby. This is a valid issue, as dust can impact air quality and the enjoyment of rural living. However, as someone who has visited similar trail systems in other regions, I have seen effective, proven solutions that can significantly mitigate dust issues:
Dust Control Treatments: Many recreational areas use magnesium chloride or similar dust suppressants on access roads. These treatments are relatively affordable, environmentally safe, and can dramatically reduce airborne dust from vehicle traffic.
Traffic Management: Limiting shuttle operations to certain hours, capping daily visitors, and encouraging carpooling can help reduce the total number of trips, further minimizing dust.
Community Collaboration: Open communication between park operators and residents can ensure dust control measures are maintained and adjusted as needed.
In fact, Panhandle Bike Ranch developers have already indicated a willingness to consider dust mitigation strategies like spraying magnesium chloride on the access road. With these measures in place, many communities have found a balance between welcoming visitors and preserving local quality of life.
While I respect the desire to protect the rural character of the area, I believe that with proper planning and cooperation, the bike ranch can be a positive addition—bringing economic and recreational benefits while responsibly addressing environmental concerns.
Thank you for your consideration.
Sincerely,
[Your Name]
