Trek Slash (Large)

$1450 GBP
A 2022 Trek Slash Carbon frame. Paintwork is mint aside from a couple of very small marks on the underside of the top tube (pictured). The bike has been well looked after and before being listed had all frame bearings replaced. The shock is unused as I ran a coil. Frame size is Large. Also included is an MRP chain guide plus all headset bearings and knock block. It also comes with the full down tube protection. UDH hangar, BITS bag and rear axle included too. Selling as I recently went ⚡️ and swapped my bits across. Hence why it’s just the frame for sale. Happy to send detailed pictures of any specific areas. This model has frame storage, which is ideal for stashing snacks, tools or even a light weight jacket so you can leave the backpack at home. A new Slash frame costs over £4,000 so an absolute steal here. Any other questions then let me know.

Video: The Making of a Trail Dog with Stevie Sticks & Andrew Taylor
Dogs on trails are fine. Just train the dog. Be a responsible owner, don't leave shit etc. Lots of trail centers in the UK are crisscrossed with family walking trails etc, and guess what... there's dogs cruising around then. So accidents can happen even if "riders" can't bring their dogs. Personally i take my dog riding, but tend to do it earlier or later in the day. Some people don't like dogs etc and that's cool. It took me a while to train him in fields etc to follow me, before i took him to a trail center, and trainings key. Dogs are smart beasts, so build the training in gradually and you'll always have a riding buddy!

Pinkbike Poll: How Do You Decide Which Bike To Buy?
Bought a Slash in 2020 as it was a banger deal (and i wanted an upgrade from my Remedy). Frame cracked and Trek sorted the warranty out, couldn't fault them. Really impressed to be fair. They had no 2020 stock, so sorted me a 2022 frame. Would i buy a Trek again? Yeah defo, after that experience i would. That being said the Forbidden Dreadnaught does look sick.......

What’s the Significance of the Specialized Direct-to-Consumer Move? It’s Complicated.
Automotive companies are doing it, Volvo are doing it (for new and used!).... Motorcycle dealers don't seem to be preparing for it yet, but its coming for them too! Its a shame when you have great bike shops that are fun to go to and chat with the team. My last bike came mail order (from a bike shop across the country). Thing is with so much info available online its easy for people to research and decide what they want, then order online. Tough times ahead for dealerships/bike shops
