You said exactly what I was thinking.
Not trying to take the win away from Max, but why would you run a series full of different kind of competitions, but then dismiss the CLEAR total winner of them all.
What was the point of this series again?
PS. I'm not worried about Tarmo. He has already proven himself in the EWS and now everyone knows who he is. Now he just doesnt have to represent a brand that doesnt care about real race speed, which Tarmo is full into.

Looks pretty clear that Tarmo is first ever Finn that PB has dealt with. He´s not a complete package? Takes home every challenge, seems to get along with everyone pretty well, even with Eric, who is clearly having hard time with Tarmos skills.
Tarmo might not be the man who gives you solid 15 photos of espresso cups next to a stopped mountain bike per day.. But he is for sure the guy who gives you the results you want, when it comes to promoting Orbeas bikes to possible new customers.
You tell me, which makes you wanna follow a rider and a bike brand. Super fast rider with a wide range of riding skills or mid-pack racer with good photo positioning?
Geez judges.

@huculaker: So there might be a chance that those 2 sides have negotiated about the situation and found an agreement about the case? Dunno, lets find Max and ask him. In any case, these are adult people, so there is a slight possibility that they have got this thing sorted out before the rider even started in the show.

Why would his sponsors mind? I think Max wouldn't be in the competition if he already had his "set for life" sponsors and deal.
