"needed to make mountain biking more welcoming to a diverse population." What does this mean in unambiguous terms? What is stopping the diverse population from getting a bike, and go ride?

Video: Remy Metailler Sends Big Jumps at Harper Mountain
@RadBartTaylor: some of the stuff those people ride in the youtube videos just looks like its only rideable by rampage competitors + a healthy dose of hyperbole = my comment

"How is this MTB trail even legal?! One of the Best Trail I have ridden" At least on YouTube videos Canadian Trails in this regard seem like those documentaries about mountainous regions in china where the children have to cross a rope bridge to get to school every day that would even give Indiana Jones pause.

Rampage Updates: Storch Out, Zink Bruised Lung, Vestavik Injured [Updated with Videos]
Honestly, from the side view vids that Vestvik drop looks ... lets very optimistic. I mean everything looks stupid at rampage, but here i see height, distance, no clean take-off. That seems like kinda asking for it

GT Force: Weight: 35.77 lb / 16.22 kg Norco: Weight: 37.05 lb / 16.80 kg Where does the weight come from? I mean 16,8 is insane, how is this even possible with a carbon frame?

Updated: Brendan Fairclough Airlifted from Lenzerheide World Cup with Severe Gash to Thigh
@PACNW-MTB: if you just continue and do nothing at some point somebody WILL die, and at this point somebody will sue which will lead to changes in one form or another. Now you can address this problem proactively, or you can just close your eyes and stick your fingers in your ears and pretend that you are 10 years old, but sooner or later this will have to be addressed. And as a spectator speed!=fun, so changing tracks to slow riders down is actually an upside in my opinion.

Updated: Brendan Fairclough Airlifted from Lenzerheide World Cup with Severe Gash to Thigh
@PACNW-MTB: I wrote this in the past here already but i think DH MTB faces the same problems DH Skiing had and still has. Tracks/Slopes where built when the material was slower, and become insane to ride with faster and faster material and better technique/Training. Now in DH skiing they have started to neuter the slopes (Kitzbühl finish line jump for example among others). The question here tough is why not take out a little bit of speed instead of removing the demanding stuff? Wouldn't racing at Mach 2 speed but on demanding features be preferable to racing at Mach 3 speed on leveled ground?

Day 2 Randoms - Eurobike 2021
KTM bikes are a different company than KTM Motorcycles. They split in the 90ties after the old company had troubles. This also pisses off the KTM Motorcycle owner as it prevents him from selling eBikes under the KTM brand, which is why they are pushing Husquvarna eBikes.
