Mike vs. Mike: The Clipless Pedal Debate - Video
I prefer the same set-up... softer soled shoe with a DX pedal... feels like I’m riding a flat but then my foot doesn’t bounce in to an awkward spot when the trails get extra chunky... and the soft shoes are great for the hike-a-bike lines... and I don’t have to wear high speed spandex to match my high speed XC shoes

Sam Pilgrim Signs with Haibike
Stoked to see how many passionate up hill riders there are here (based on all the purist comments). Personally I get the most satisfaction from going down and use whatever means to get up the hill... shuttles, chairlifts, pedal, push... it all happens every week... I find it hard to hate on a guy who feels the same and is using an efficient means to get to his shred spots... I’m super stoked to see some Sam Pilgrim edits in 2018 on his 50lb shred sled ????

Opinion: Save the DH Bike?
My experience has been slightly different... I bit the 29er enduro bait, sold my DH sled and spent then entire summer on my Slash... doing double duty lift access and pedaling... and shuttles... flash forward one year later and I am $1500 in to suspension rebuilds, replacing thrashed wheels, and changing blown brakes... I bought a used 26" wheeled DH bike recently and have been having massive amounts of fun on it once again... not to say the trail bike isn't great, but the dudes I know that ride often and ride hard have both a DH and a trail bike... if anyone wants to see some of the abuse the Slash took this summer check out my IG @huntermcc1
