Got a Transition Spur with 120 travel a couple years ago. It only took me a couple rides to realize I had wasted years of my life on that old 5010 geometry. Not for everyone of course, but def for me.

Review: Smith's Payroll Helmet Has Koroyd & A Crash Sensor
I guess the e-bike certification will help sales. Drop about 10G on your first bike - just happens to be an e-bike ;) - and then grab helmet and other accessories that have cool apps and such, and off you go hammering the single track. Helmet comes in handy as you crash into other biker who assumed you knew how to ride.
