Review: Race Face Turbine R Dropper Post
Exactly my feeling...not a knock against 9point8 or the design, but construction/build quality. Their components are otherwise great. @KrazyKraut:

Review: Race Face Turbine R Dropper Post
Why chance it with Race Face after they royally screwed it with their licensing for original dropper? Longer travel options aside, Fox Transfers are becoming more widespread and can be bought cheaper - especially if you find one as a new take-off.

5 Women's Kits Tested - 2018 Summer Gear Guide
Why no love for the smaller brands? Is it pay to play with these reviews? Shreddly is putting out some massively popular shorts. My wife and most all women I know who ride, own at least one pair.

Looks good. I wonder how many of those digital protractors will be sold due to this article.

Ask Pinkbike: Riding At High Altitude, Geeking Out On Race Results, and Replacing Rotors
Risk of altitude illness and the progression of symptoms of acute mountain sickness (AMS) and injury beyond that are not so much due to the final altitude reached, but the rate of your ascent. Colorado is a very high risk example, considering folks often come from sea level to Denver (5280') and immediately drive to ski resorts (base areas on average are at 8-10,000') and from there take a lift of gondola to 12-13,000'+. Prevention is key and as Mike mentioned, hydration is extremely important. In addition to going easy with alcohol, avoid diuretics (caffeine being one). Acclimation with regards to how short-of -reath or out-of-shape you feel will won't be accomplished in the span of a short vacation, but the physiologic changes that occur to offset your risk of altitude illness will happen within three days given you don't continue ascending. Here's a link to some good resources:

Niner Sir 9 like new

$1500 USD
Mint Condition Niner Sir 9 size XL. I had plans to turn this into a bacpacking rig, but fell in love with my 29+. Build is entirely stock except for a Salsa seat clamp. Pictured with Spec Gound Control tires, but will come with original Maxxis Ikon front/rear tires. Steel is Real! The Reynolds frame has a super compliant ride and feels great coupled with the Reba Fork with boost spacing. This would make for a sweet endurance rig, XC racer, single speed climbing machine, or backcountry adventurer. Hybrid 2/3star build direct from Niner. GX drivetrain with XT 11-42 cassette, SRAM DB5 (Level) brakes, Niner wheels/bars/stem/seatpost, and Reba boost 15x110 fork. Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks, James

Jesse Melamed Injured At EWS France
@wittereus: Agreed. Unfortunately there's still the freak mishaps that catch even the best off guard.

Gore R7 Shakedry Jacket - Review
I would prefer they left out the massive registered logo on the sleeve. Looks kinda tacky.
