Five Ten Releases Trailcross XT Flat Pedal Shoes - Across the Pond Beaver
I just tuck my lace bow under the lace crossing close to the toe box. Not as nice as a purpose made holder, but never really had an issue with them coming out and being eaten.

Maxxis Introduce Wide Trail Options for Aspen and Rekon Race Tires - Pond Beaver 2020
Due to these having a different recommended internal rim width than the previously offered WT tires, I think Maxxis should use a different designation for these XC tires, such as WX, to differentiate. Each nomenclature should have a set definition behind it that doesn't leave the buyer guessing or needing to read articles/further into the website to figure out what works. I'm glad the XC tires are being offered in these options now. I've been waiting for these for a while now.

I took inspiration from all of the urban downhill races and created a track through the front yard with a hip jump across the ferns, plywood up the steps into the front door, over bench seat and dog crates, step down into the den (rug simulating off-camber turn), out the back door, slalom through the dog turds, manual practice through the garage, and back around.

First Ride: Teravail's New Ehline and Honcho Trail Tires
There's also more weight on the back tire typically, which offers more mechanical grip on that tire, reducing the need for added bite. Due to more weight on the back tire, shorter tread allows for more rolling efficiency. Running a more aggressive tread out front allows for more traction with less rolling resistance penalty. Short answer: drifts r awesome.
