First Ride: Teravail's New Ehline and Honcho Trail Tires
There's also more weight on the back tire typically, which offers more mechanical grip on that tire, reducing the need for added bite. Due to more weight on the back tire, shorter tread allows for more rolling efficiency. Running a more aggressive tread out front allows for more traction with less rolling resistance penalty. Short answer: drifts r awesome.

First Look: Trek's New 2019 Remedy
Why does every bike review now have to make a point on whether or not there's a 29er version? It's like reviewing a mid-sized truck and pointing out that if you want a full-sized truck, you'll need to get the full-sized truck model. "Hey, man. You want to buy some 29er? I'll give you a good deal. Just a little taste..."

I bought this dropper post and realized it was too tall for what my frame would allow. Replaced it with a 125mm. The post has only been used for three rides and the cable/trigger are brand new.

First Ride: Santa Cruz's New 5010
To sum up this review, "it's a nice bike but it would be better if they brought a Hightower." I was expecting a better review about this bike and it's intended audience. Can we get a redo? That said, what happened with the colo(u)r designer? Did the light go out in the mood room? I've always loved Santa Cruz's bright colors and there hasn't been a bright option on the 5010 for 2 years now. I'm also disappointed they dropped the XE build from the lineup, which seemed to be that cusp between beyond-stupid-expensive and I shouldn't have spent that much money on a bike. At least the frame looks super clean and sexy now, even if the skinned Grimace to coat it.
